"So this is goodbye," I said, the tears flowing down my cheeks.
"Em," he said gently, wiping my tears away with his thumb as he held my face in his hand. "Don't cry. And please don't say goodbye. This can't be the end."
"I'm sorry Nath," I said. "I have to go."
The train pulled to a stop. I looked at Nathan sadly, the tears growing harsher and harsher. I felt my face burn.
"Goodbye," I whispered, kissing his cheek. I walked towards the train door but her grabbed my hand.
"Em," he said. "Don't forget about me please."
I looked at the ground sadly.
"No promises," I said before walking onto the train, sitting down, and watching Nathan as the train started moving away.
