Chapter One

ONE

I got out of bed, rubbing my eyes and longing I didn't wake up. I stood up and looked around and saw my uniform, my crappy uniform (picture over there →). I hated how it made us girls look like sluts. And, it just gets worse when u try to find a boyfriend who hates slutty girls.

I wandered around until my phone rang.

'I can't believe, I had to see.

 The girl of my dreams cheating on me.

 The pain you caused that's left me dead inside.

 I'm gonna make sure you regret that night.'

I picked it up.

"Hello," I said, still half asleep.

"HEY!" I heard Victoria yell from the other end of the line.

"What do you want Vic?" I asked. "I have to get ready for school."

"I know," she said. "I just have to tell you that we get a new student today."

I groaned.

"Goodbye Vic," I said before hanging up on her. I grabbed my uniform and deodorant and ran into the bathroom and got changed. I cam out and pulled on my knee-high black socks and black uniform dress shoes. I smiled and made my way downstairs. I made my morning coffee and went and did my hair. I brushed my teeth and grabbed my bags. I then rushed out to my car and drove to school.

AT SCHOOL:

I walked into the classroom and booted up my laptop. I checked my Twitter and wrote a tweet.

'@EmilyTheWanted11: So not excited for class. Get a new student *sarcastic woop*'

 I then closed my laptop and placed it inside my bag. And that's when he walked in, the new kid.

HALFWAY THROUGH THE DAY:

I realized that new kid was just cowering behind his laptop all day.

"Hey new kid," I called to him. He looked at me, his eyes hidden behind his sunglasses. "Come over her."

He shut his laptop and walked over to me.

"You wanted me," he said polietly, disarming me from my cruel attacks.

"Y-you look familiar," I said. "Have I seen you before?"

"Maybe," he said. "But I can't tell you where."

He smiled before walking away. I looked at Victoria. She looked at the new kid who said his name was James.

"I will NEVER understand new kids," Victoria said
