Gunpoint 2.0

Maddie  was knocking on the door and I came down to meet her.

We were going to be doing homework.

"Hi!" she chirped.

"Come in" I said.

We marched up the stairs and hopped on my beanbag chair.

We took out our chromebooks and logged in.

I heard a yell and the window broke, followed by men and woman in black suits.

"Come with us," a glitched voice said.

Maddie looked at me.

"I got this." I said.

I threw a ball of energy and it hit them.

The others jumped on me but I shocked them off. I ran for the last one but was ambushed and at gunpoint.

I could feel the barrel of the gun on my head.

Maddie sighed.

Seriously .

Then it happened.

The gun broke in half and all the samurais fell down.

I looked at Maddie.

She had white hair with gold streaks in it.

"Are you?" I started.

"Don't tell anybody I'm Steel." she said.

"Or I will come for you." she threatened.

Her suit was made of metal so she could open and close it with ease.

She threw something at me.

I picked it up. It was a suit and not that bad if I don't say so myself.  

It was red with yellow stripes on the side.

"I'll call myself phoenix" I said.

"I'm just glad your okay." she hugged me.

"Don't pick fights" she said.

"I didn't. I mean who could resist the wonderful beautiful Axel. They had to come after me." I joked.

She laughed and hopped out the window.

"Bye blinky" she said

"Bye Steel" I replied.

My mom was making dinner and Arrien had just got back from her soccer game.

"Today's Friday!" My mom said. I guessed she had forgot.

"Axel can you go take the trash out to the curb for me" she said.

"Sure" I replied.

I got up and put on my shoes. They had mud on them. Arrien had her muddy cleats right by my shoes so I guessed that was what had happened.

I put on my muddy shoes and opened the door. The trash can was full and I pushed it up the driveway. I could've sworn I saw something flash by and my senses tingled. I was alert and ready for an attack. I pushed it up and looked around. Nothing?

I walked back down peacefully until I met the garage right outside it were the ninjas. I backed away. My hand was blinking on and off uncontrollably and I couldn't stop them no matter how hard I tried. I looked at them running towards me. Then it happened. My eyes flashing red my vision was now like a heat camera.

I wasn't human anymore. It felt so pleasant. I looked at myself.

I snapped out of it and fell to the ground.

I can turn into a phoenix!

I'm virtually unstoppable!

Then something pierced my neck. I whipped around and saw a soldier who looked like the captain.(Above is the description) My vision blurred and I fell down with a thud.

Maybe not so invincible.
