—It was past midnight and the moon was glowing through the cottony soft clouds. The sky was something tonight. Even though there were clouds, I could see stars twinkling as if they were smiling at me.

My legs hung down the wall as I was sitting on the edge of the 20 story building and down below I could see the lively night and people enjoying themselves on a relaxed Saturday night.

I needed some fresh air after running from him. The only guy who is after me. Officer Jeon. A smirk crept on my face as I thought of him. Seriously, I am a criminal and still so hooked up on an officer.

I shut my eyes and felt the cool summer breeze flowing through my open hair and slowly tilt my head back as I was sent back to a memory. My memory with Officer Jeon. That fucking daddy.

I recalled going into his apartment. I was outside of his apartment and I knew he was inside too. But he was most probably asleep. Stealing that information file would not be that tough.

After hacking his locked door, I silently went inside on my toes. The room was dark but from the glow of the moon, I could see some stuff. But one thing was confirmed that Officer Jeon's paycheck was damn good. His house screamed nothing but luxury.

It was so good that I was almost distracted but I shook my head and remembered that I needed to get that file. I stood there and thought where can he keep that file. My head turned to my left and I saw his open kitchen.

" Let's give it a try. "

I told myself in a whisper and my feet started walking towards the kitchen. I went through every cabinet there but couldn't find anything. I search for any secret door or cabinet on the wall but Nah I failed to find any.

I sighed and looked at my wrist to see the time

' 1:30 am ' it said.

" I don't have much time. Already wasted half an hour here in this useless kitchen. "

I said to myself and saw three doors in front of me. One door is his'. I quietly and quickly went to the door on the left and pressed my ear on the door but failed to hear anything. I gulped and thought of doing the most stupid thing ever.

My palm wrapped around the doorknob and I twisted it to the right. A light click sound was heard and only that made my heart race in small fear of being caught. I bit my lower lip and stretched my head a little inside of the door. The room was dark but I could still see a mattress and a body lying over it.

I sighed in relief and slowly closed the door without making any sound. I gulped and went towards the door in the center. As I opened this door slowly, I was revealed to a gym room.

" Wow. Well, no surprise. It's Jeon's house, what else can you expect. "

I said with a smile and closed the door and went towards the door on the right side. I opened it slowly and went inside. It was an office room. Papers, files, case files, everything was there. I turned my head back a little to check if someone was there behind me. After getting confirmed that no one was there, I sighed and went towards his table.

I bent down to the lowest drawer and pulled it out to see it was empty. I pushed my hand inside touched the upper part of the drawer and felt nothing. After closing, I did the same with the other two drawers and found nothing. I huffed in annoyance and stood up on my feet.
