The Mask of Deception

Three weeks has past, all the ninja are looking for uncle. I'm knelt before the mast on the Bounty while Wu Wu tries his hand at flying. His wings have grown big enough to support his weight.

"Your wings are an extension of you. Just like your piwers, you can control them. Now, jump up as you do a down flap and flap them at a steady pace." I coach hem.

Wu Wu gives a small jump, doing as I told and he hovers. "Good job, now to move, lean in the direction you want to go. But, ever so slightly. The smallest movement can have the biggest impact." I say. He nods, banking left and he goes to a barrel. Landing on it, Wu Wu folds his wings.

"How was that mama." He asks. I get up, a bit of a struggle with my eight month belly and go to hem. I pull my eldest triplet into a hug and he purrs. My ear twitches at a noise, it moves.

Over the last few days, my human ears have been replaced by wolf ears. Nya has even tied a ribbon around the base of them. The guys say they make me look like an alpha, and, in a way, their right.

The ninja walk up, Wu Wu flies to them. The ninja have taken to Wu Wu as a nephew, he love them like their counterparts. "We got a mission at the Jade palace." Kai explains.

I don't like this. Nya takes the ship to the palace, I stay on the Bounty so not to attract attention. Hutchins walks the grounds, I duck out the way but he calls out. "Damn." I think.

Guards come up, Wu Wu crouches, I flair my wings out. "Stop, he's with us." Kai says as he and the ninja run up. "He's my counterpart from an alternate realm. He's staying on the ship so not to be seen." Lloyd says.

"Why is that, what will it effect our realm." Hutchins says. I step forward, Kai takes my arm, I smile at hem. My wings are wrapped around my body, hiding the fact that I'm pregnant.

I get infront of Hutchins, bowing my head in respect. "Master at Arms and Counsel of the Royal family. Mr.Hutchins, I'm not a danger to the realm. It's just, right now, I'm vulnerable. Yes, I have power but, it's energy is being used for something else." I begin.

The guards lower their weapons, even Hutchins lowers his. "In my realm, there are men who are able to get pregnant. The are what is known as a reproducing male...." "And I'm assuming you are one of them." The Empress says walking up. She, the Emperor and Harumi walk up the ramp.

I give a bow, as low as I can given my state. "Would it be too much to ask if I may see." The Empress asks. "You may." Opening my wings, the guards step back, not from the sight of me but, the knowledge they threatened a pregnant male.

The Empress walks up, hand out but stops, looking at me. I nod and grasp her hand, laying it over my middle. She gasps as the babies kick. "How many." She asks. "Four, I'm month away from having them." I explain. "Is the time frame the same." Harumi asks. "Yes, though given how many I'm with, I could have them early or I might be overdue. All depends really." I say.

"Than, I insist you stay at the palace. If your power is being used for the development of the kids, your weak. What if your attacked here on the ship. None of the ninja can protect you. No, I will not allow a mother-to-be left defenceless." The Emperor says. 'Damn, he has me.' I think.

"He wouldn't have been alone." Morro says, appearing beside me "but I do agree with them. It would be a lot safer for you inside the palace." He tells me. I look at the counterpart of my husband. "Who's side are you on." I say. Morro chuckles.

"Come along, sensei Lloyd. You must be hungry, we were able to have dinner." The Emperor says, turning. Wu Wu flies ahead, he picks a rose from a bush and places it in my hair. I playfully swip at hem, Wu Wu giggles, flying ahead. "Stay in the yard." I call. "Kay mama." He calls back.

"From your first." The Empress asks as Wu Wu flies to Cole. "The eldest of triplets. Yes. He's named after my late uncle Wu." I explain. "Well, he must be proud of hem then." The Emperor said.

Later, I sit cross legged on the bed of the room I'm given. A soft knock sounds, one of the guards assigned to me peeks in. "Everything to your liking, sensei Lloyd." He asks. I nod "It is, good night." I say. He dips his head, leaving.

Pulling the covers back, I get under them, falling asleep.
