Ninjago: Time Heals Some Wounds

Greg walks with me while I walk the courtyard. He and Ace are the ones keeping an eye on me right now. Coming to a pond, I kneel, sitting with my legs curled and to the side.

"Everything alright." Greg asks, standing to the side. "Yes, just need a breather. Come, sit down and rest a minute." I say. He joins me as koi fish swim in the pond.

Pulling out some pellets I have, I toss them in the water. The koi begin to eat the pellets. "We have a pond in our back yard with koi in it so I keep a bag of these on me." I said, taking another hand full and putting the bag up.

The sun climes overhead and I get up. Grasping the bo staff I now walk with, I head back in. My belly has gotten really heavily so now I have to walk about every hour. Greg loves to accompany me while on these walks.

"So, back in your realm, did you ever face this situation." Greg says. I stop, looking at hem. I can trust hem. "The ninja told me about their adventures. I wasn't around. A man froze me for fifty years. All of this (I wave the staff) it's not the same. The ninja are closer to seventy years old now while I was twenty-two for fifty years." I explain

Greg whistles in amazement. "That's got to suck. Having your whole ripped from you." He says and I begin walking. "I fell into a dark place a week after I woke." I roll the sleeve of my coat up, the scars seen. Greg nods in understanding.

Pulling them down, I turn and continue walking. The day goes by, Wu Wu spends it with the ninja training or with me while I read to the babies.

I turn in, curling under the blanket in bed. Closing my eyes, it's no sooner I'm being shaken. Greg and Ace in my burning room....wait....burning.

"We need to move, the palace is on fire and under attack." Greg says as he hands me my staff. We get to the door, I reach for the nod and pull back. Blisters are on the palm of my hand. Ace rams the door, he goes through to the other side.

I go to step out when Greg grabs my arm, a motorcycle runs by. He and Ace lead me through the halls. My coat is yanked, I come face to face with a big guy. Twisting, i flap my wings, he's startled and let's go.

Wu Wu sends a gold blast at hem, big man falls. Greg and Ace keep me in sight, leading me out. The roof starts to colaspe, I grab their shirts, yanking hard as a metal support beam falls.

We come to the ship, Wu Wu hugs me. Harumi is crying over losing her second family. I look to the two that risked their life for mine.
