3RD PERSON P.O.V.
"Seiya and Cassius, we started this tournament with over a thousand warriors. Now you are the last two standing. The winner of this battle shall receive the Pegasus Cloth and take your place as one of Athena's honored Saints" the grand master said to the two opponents gesturing to a silver box with a Pegasus emblem on it . The grand masters face was masked much like Marin's and his helmet was made of pure gold.
"The Pegasus Cloth" Cassius said grinning to Seiya who just looked on at the box. "From the time of myths. It is why I came to the island in the first place. Six long years of training. With that armor I'll be able to go to Sanctuary and find my sister" Seiya thought to himself.
"If you are ready than let the final fight beg-" the grand master started but never finished as Cassius threw the first punch sending Seiya flying backwards. 'Ha ha your student wasn't ready" Ophiuchus Shaina, Cassius's teacher said to Marin. "Your student is a dirty cheat" she shot back.
"Dammit" Seiya said.
"I'll have Cassius say he is sorry after he crushes Seiya and wins the Cloth. Now finish him Cassius" Shaina said. "AARRGGHH" Cassius said throwing a fast punch at Seiya who jump to the side only to have Cassius grab his leg swinging him around until he was slammed to the ground with a loud thud.
Seiya thought back to his training with Marin....
FLASHBACK
It was night time and the stars were out. "Our bodies are made up of atoms. Flowers,Trees,Insects, everything. It was a gift that Aurora bestowed when he created humans. Even the stars in the sky" Marin said to her pupil pointing to the stars above.
"Everything in the universe is made of atoms" she continued. "Ah!" Seiya said moving out of the way as a large rock that Marin destroyed came tumbling towards him. "And destroying anything is just a matter of separating his atoms. Seiya focus your power, focus your body and spirit. To the strength point. TO YOUR HAND" Marin instructed. Seiya got in a ready position, getting ready to destroy the rock.
FLASHBACK OVER
Back to the battle with Cassius and Seiya, Cassius kept throwing punch after punch while Seiya kept blocking and dodging. "Seiya" Cassius said "I thought you were smarter than this. If you won't give up, than I will have to tear you apart". Cassius kept throwing punches in which Seiya dodged until he was given a roundhouse kick to the head pushing him to the ground.
"SEIYA BURN YOUR COSMO. FOCUS YOUR BODY AND SPIRIT. TO THE STRENGTH POINT, TO YOUR HAND" Marin shouted. Seiya's hand started to glow blue. With a scream Seiya punched the ground making a large crater (as if a meteor struck) with enough power to push Cassius in to a pillar.
"What the hell" Cassius said.
"Cassius, you can't lose the battle to Seiya" Shaina said to him.
"I won't" Cassius said.
"Cassius, I don't want to hurt you. Surrender and you can still walk away" Seiya said to his opponent. "You won't be walking away from this" Cassius said hoping to trip him only for Seiya to jump in the air and do a back flip. "I won't let you win the armor. AAARRGGHH" Cassius shouted charging at Seiya. Seiya just caught his fist.
"You just don't get it do you. You use Cosmo, but only a fraction of its power" Seiya said to him.
"What are you even saying?" Cassius asked bewildered.
"You never even considered a universe inside your own body" Seiya said to him bringing up thoughts of him destroying the rock that night.
"Huh, it's as if you have already mastered it" Marin said to herself quietly.
"The universe in my body" Cassius said.
FLASHBACK
"HUH" Seiya said giving two smaller rocks a punch hoping to break it without much luck. "You can do better, if you only utilize your Cosmo" Marin said. Seiya looked up at his teacher wondering what she meant by that.
"You and the stars are made of the same atom. In the beginning, everything in the universe was formed by the Big Bang. Your body is its own mini universe. True Saints can generate this power by igniting their own Cosmo, they can move the earth, smash the stars" Marin said before pointing a finger at himself.
"Seiya burn your Cosmo. Make your mini universe explode. Then your attacks will hit with all the power of a meteor" Marin instructed.
FLASHBACK OVER
Seiya was tracing his hands around in a specific motion surprising the spectators and the grand master wondering how he knew the motions.
"Seiya's hands are tracing the 13 stars of Pegasus" Shaina said to her student.
"I'm bigger, I'm stronger. I'm a lot smarter than you. YOU DON'T HAVE A UNIVERSE INSIDE YOUR BODY" Cassius said charging at Seiya.
"NO CASSIUS GET AWAY FROM SEIYA" Shaina shouted but it was futile.
"PEGASUS METEOR FIST" Seiya shouted, as many blue balls of energy came hurdling at Cassius.
"WHAT!" Cassius shouted. They slammed into him knocking him on the ground showing that Seiya had won the fight.
"You have proven yourself today Seiya and Athena has recognize as a new bronze Saint" the grand master said. "I did it the cloth is mine" Seiya said excitedly walking up to the box a slamming the top. The box morphed into a necklace that Seiya could wear anywhere.
"But heed by warning Seiya, if you ever use your armor for personal battles or personal gain. Saints of the world will descend upon you. Never forget that" the grand master cautioned. Shaina took a look at Seiya and smiled before walking.
LATER ON IN THE DAY
"Seiya come on their is someone you need to meet" Marin said running along the cliffs. "Hey wait up" Seiya said chasing after her. Marin jumped off the cliff landing on a clearing littered in destroyed temple pillars. In the center however stood a man, his skin purple and eyes red and his hair was raven black. His armor looked more like an assassins outfit. On his back the man has giant black wings. What stood out the most was his aura. Even by being so far away, Seiya could sense his power almost bringing him to his needs. And hi cosmo was unlike anything Seiya felt before.
"Hello Seiya" he said.
"Seiya allow me to introduce you to Lord Perseus primordial of Heroes and Heroic Fate, God of Emotions,Justice,Law,Time,Balance, Heroes,Darkness,Punishment and Fate" Marin said to the now identified man known as Perseus.
"Milord" Seiya said about to bow only for Perseus to wave his hand telling him to not give him any formalities. "Seiya I wish I could've talked to you sooner, but I had to wait to see if Tenma's champion was the true Pegasus. Now that you have the cloth, it appears you are" Perseus said taking a pause.
He continued "dark times are ahead of us. The gods are divided into two groups, those that believe humanity should be enslaved and those that wish for humanity to be free. Ares has manipulated Sanctuary making up a false prophecy. When you find Athena, you must find the immortal saints. When you do I will meet you at Sanctuary. The pope is not who he says he is. He must die" Perseus said gravely.
"Where am I supposed to find Athena" Seiya asked the primordial.
"She is having a tournament in a couple of days for the Gold Sagittarius Cloth of Aiolos. You need to journey to these coordinates" Perseus responded handing him a GPS with a red dot. "You must win the Cloth and return it to Aiolos. Only he, Athena, and their younger brother Aiolia can beat Ares" he finished.
"But I'm just one guy, how can I do all that" Seiya asked. Perseus only smiled "You will find friends along the way" was all he said before flashing out. Turning to Marin for advice he saw that she was already gone.
"Looks like I have a long road ahead of me" Seiya thought leaving the island towards his destiny.
