First story, we're starting gentle with a cute fluff with our favourite catcher!!
Inspiration: Saw this picture and had to make a story because... they're just too cute!!

Description: Miyuki got a dog... do I need to say anything else?
You were walking to the nearby park to meet your childhood best friend who said he had a surprise. You were a few minutes early so you found a bench to sit on. Family's were walking around, playing and laughing. Some dogs were running around, happy to be in such a wide open space. You smiled in content, relishing in the peaceful atmosphere.
But your peace was interrupted by a small dog running up to you and leaping onto your lap. You jumped in surprise before laughing and stroking its soft head. "Hey there cutie. Where did you come from?" You looked around for its owner but didn't see anyone.
You looked at the adorable light brown and white corgi happily sitting on your lap. His ears perked at the sound of a whistle to your left and he leapt off your lap again to sprint to his owner. You followed the corgi's trail with your gaze and saw a crouching male. He picked up the dog in his arms lovingly and he jogged over to you.

"Hey Y/N! I see little Champ introduced himself to you already." Miyuki chuckled as he sat next to you. You looked at his casual attire of red hoodie, black sweatpants, sneakers and black baseball cap which was sideways on his head, one of his trademarks along with his rectangular, black rimmed glasses.
"Hey Miyuki," you beamed at him and gazed into his light brown eyes. You always thought your childhood best friend was handsome, but it was his personality that over time won your heart. Everybody labeled him to have a twisted personality, but after knowing him for practically all your life, you've seen the reasons behind his teasing and blunt honest remarks. His confidence people mistake for arrogance actually is a front to hide his insecurities that only you knew of. It was his vulnerable, insecure side that made you fall for him because deep down he is one of the most caring and sincere people you know.
"So Champ is the surprise?" You smiled and scratched him under his chin and Champ lifted his head to give you more access.
Miyuki was watching you give affection to the second most important living thing in his life. He smiled warmly looking at the two of you before replying, "Yeah, I got him a month ago after we won the fall tournament and became the champions. Hence the name 'Champ'. I got him as an early Christmas present for myself."
You laughed softly at his cute backstory about Champ and then remembered how Christmas is in a week's time. It seems like only yesterday you were screaming with joy in the bleachers because Miyuki's team won the tournament before quickly rushing to the hospital to sit by his side while he got examined. He's such an idiot to play while injured! But you knew he wouldn't let anything stop him playing baseball with his team, especially for this match. It was another quality you loved about him. His perseverance.
