(Y/n) pov

This morning I woke up early. It was 6:03 instead of 6:20. I guess it's just instinct now. I went to the bathroom and washed my face like every morning and got dressed. When I had finished my routine, I went into the kitchen and found a letter on the table. I picked it up and read it.

My little Angel,

I'll be at work until noon tomorrow. I already made pancakes for you (they're in the fridge). Your lunch is on the counter. I know that you will get along well yourself.

When I finished reading the note, I went to the fridge. Just like she had promised, there was a stack of pancakes covered in plastic wrap. Carefully take them out, I went over to the microwave and heated them up. Even though they had to be re-heated, they still tasted divine. When I had finished, I grabbed my lunch and headed out the door.

"Y/n!!" someone behind me yelled.

"Huh?" I mumbled. It was too early for anything major. I turned around just before Nene hit me. We both tumbled to the ground and our bags fell off of our backs.

"Sorry, Y/n!" Nene-chan exclaimed as she picked up her scattered books, "I didn't mean to run into you that fast!"

"Ah...That hurt..." I replied, feeling my forehead. Nothing seemed to be bleeding, but it didn't hurt any less.

"I'm SOOOO sorry! Are you ok?" she asked, looking down at me worriedly.

"I'm fine, Nene-chan," I said, beginning to pick up my books, "but please, watch where you're going next time."

"O-ok and sorry again."

"I'm fine now. Let's go to school, we don't want to be late for class," I said, standing up with my bag in hand.

"Oh yes! You're right, we need to go!" Nene-chan said while grabbing my wrist and dragging me behind her.

".....You know we don't need to run, right? We have still enough time before school starts," I sighed. Running was tiring and made me feel hot.

"Oh! Yes! Sorry...." she trailed off, slowing her pace to a brisk walk.

"It's ok," I said and continued to follow Nene to school. Along the way, we talked about what our favorite seasons were and how nice the weather was that day. The sky was littered with gray clouds, but it wasn't going to rain just yet. The wind was blowing, but it was pleasant even though the sun wasn't out. Thankfully, I think the rain would hold off till after lunch, allowing us to visit the rooftop for lunch.

When we had gotten to the school, We made our way to the lockers. I had become pretty much used to the daily schedule of school. Go to lockers, go to class, go to lunch, go back to class, and head home for the day. It wasn't that difficult. However, I sometimes had trouble finding my way to rooms NOT in my schedule such as the computer lab or art room.

"Nene-chan, Y/n-chan, good morning," Aoi-san greeted from her desk.

"Good Morning Aoi-chan," Nene-chan replied, going to her usual seat by the window.

"Good morning Aoi-san," I greeted and followed Nene to my spot.

We continued chatting normally for a while when suddenly Aoi brought up a strange topic.

"Hey, you guys, do you know the 3rd school mystery, The Hell of Mirrors?" Aoi-san asked.

"Yes," Nene-chan answered quickly. I was about to respond with a no when our teacher came into class. Our discussion was cut short as he made his way to the front of the room.
