Friday

(Y/n) pov

I woke up to the sun shining through my window. I knew it wasn't time to get up yet, so I glanced at the clock. It was 6 am. Time to start the day.

Turning over, I realized that something warm was in my arms. When I looked down, I saw my adorable cat curled up into a ball. He was still sleeping. Deciding to wake him up, I pulled my arm out from under him and began to gently pet him. His eyes fluttered open and he glanced up at me with his two amber eyes. He began to purr and I gave a smile. He was just sooo cute~

When I finished admiring my furry friend, I got out of my bed to start my day. Grabbing my uniform from my dresser, I made my way to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and did my hair into its usual style. As soon as I finished everything, I left the bathroom and re-entered my room. There, I made my way over to Kuro, who was laying down on my bed. Giving a quick glance to the clock, I saw I still had 35 minutes before I had to leave.

.....I can spare 5.

"I'm lucky that today is Friday," I said in a happy tone, sitting on my bed. I began to pet Kuro's soft fur with my hand and he purred with delight.

After a minute or two, my mom knocked on my door. When she walked in, she was visibly surprised to see me awake.

"Ah! I see you're already awake. Breakfast will be ready soon," my mother said giving me a warm smile. I returned it and continued to pet Kuro.

"M'kay," I replied simply. My mom then left my room.

After another 5 min, I placed my things into my bag and made my way downstairs. Kuro followed close behind.

"What's for breakfast today?" I asked. I walked over to my seat and sat down.

"Some pancakes. And for school, I made a bento again." She placed a giant plate of pancakes on the table in front of her spot and mine. Then, she went to the fridge and gave Kuro a small plate with chicken. When we had all received our food, we dug in greedily.

After I had finished my breakfast, I put my plate in the sink. I grabbed my schoolbag from beside my chair and walked to the door to grab my shoes.

"I'm going now," I said to my mom. She walked over and give me a kiss on the forehead.

"Be careful and don't make trouble ok?"

"Hehe, yes. I know mom," I laughed and then pet the cat, "Sorry, Kuro, but I have to go now."

Kuro looked up with pleading eyes, but I simply sighed and shook my head. This cat was going to be the end of me-

Making my way to school, I noticed the same things I do every morning. The bakery, for example, always turned on their open sign at 7:00 as I walked by. The mailman walked down the street for early deliveries. Nothing out of the ordinary besides the weather, which is always different. Today it was a blue sky with the sun shining brightly. A pretty day, some might say.

After my 10 minute walk, I finally made it to the school. I walked inside and found Aoi and Nene by their lockers chatting.

"Good morning Nene-chan and Aoi-chan," I exclaimed in a happy mood. I walked over to where they were standing and opened my locker.

"Good morning Y/n-chan," both of them greeted.

Placing some of my later-lesson books away, I grabbed my books for the first classes. When I had finished, we all went to our class, chatting about random things.

Soon, we arrived at class. We continued to talk until our teacher entered and began his lecture.

When the first boring lessons of the day were over, the life-saving lunch bell rang. Thank goodness, too. I was very hungry.
