The Darkness Within

"Its just not fair," Avia whined her arm looped through Athena's "Varian doesn't speak to me anymore and my dad's crazy for power... And then there is me" Athena looked at her and laughed.
"Your crazy," she laughed and kissed Avia's cheek playfully "everybody loves you" Avia raised a sceptical eyebrow.
Getting used to this feeling? Villain hissed she won't love you once I'm free you pathetic mewling kitten! Avia didn't flinch. She was used to this by now.

They had finally reached the abandoned warehouse. Coloured lights burst out as he girls stepped in side. The party was filled with fairy drugs, mortal drugs and alcohol. Avia wasn't what people called good either.

Athena shot Avia a sideways look as she headed towards the bar.
" Avia, " she hissed "you can't your not sixteen yet....oh God" Avia was already at the bar throwing down shots and covered in what looked like melted glitter. Fairy drugs. Athena sighed as she watched her best friend get in to fights with fairys, werewolves and even vampires. And win all of them. Snarling Avia danced with ferocity and passion mingling with the vampires. Twice Avia returned to the bar but by the third Athena was grabbing her wrist. Avia turned and Athena saw blood splattering her clothes and two puncture marks on her neck.
"I'm taking you home" Athena shouted over the music. Avia snarled and pushed her away.
"I am Home" Avia's eyes were glittering in the fluorescent lights.

After fighting Athena managed to get Avia out of the party only to come face to face with Detoxia, Ali, Artemis and Varian. Avia gasped as her twin walked up to her looking at her puncture marks. It was startling how much Avia and Varian looked alike same glittering eyes,same dark hair with a blue streak same jaw line. Varian finished checking Avia before signing and hugging her.
"What are you doing," he asked softly " your covered in fairy drugs your lucky it's me not dad"
"he wouldn't care," she snapped " he only cares about you, his money maker" Varian stood there shocked as his sister screamed at him.
"What about me, I care, your my twin" Avia softened slightly put kept her guard up.

"Hey beautiful," a sober vampire called at Avia
"come here" the vampire was relatively handsome. Dark brown hair, gold eyes and a good cop,bad cop vibe to him.
"Me and you," he said softly in Avia's ear " my place later" Avia grinned and nodded whispering something in the vampires ear.

"Where were you?" Jeremiah asked as Avia walked in wearing someone else's clothes.
"Out" came the subtle replied as Avia walked to her room. Slamming the door Avia slumped down on her bed and groaned in pain. A light knock on the bedroom door shook her out of her fatigue and she called the person in.
"Avia are you ok?" Varian asked clearly distressed.
"Fine," she growled sliding under her covers. "I'm going to sleep" Varian stood and exited the room quietly as Avia fell into a dream-less sleep.

"You look terrible" Athena remarked.
" Thanks" Avia growled washing her school shirt for the fifth time.
"I have told you not to mess around with vampires!"  Avia smirked at her.
"And when have I ever listened to you?" Athena shrugged.
"Were gonna be late"
"Let's leave then" Avia pulled her shirt from the washing machine and dried it in seconds. Throwing it in but leaving the buttons undone the girls finally left for school.

" expecting to see your vampires mate" Ali growled. Avia looked at her.
"What do you mean?" Ali smiled and motioned at Avia's shirt.
" we can see everything, do the shirt up"
"Not everything" Detoxia groaned in disgust.
"Don't wanna know" Athena shouted turning to look at Artemis who had appeared with a bag of popcorn and was casually eating it whilst watching the group. Athena looked back at Avia and sighed. Grabbing Avia by the tie Athena pulled her closer and did the buttons on your shirt.
"Try keep your thoughts to your self Detoxia doesn't wanna know what happened" Avia smirked as they strode to the first class of the day to listen to things they didn't need to know and mingle with people they didn't like.

Fifth lesson. Five minutes before the end of the day. The door of the class room slammed open and Jeremiah Rose stormed in Varian trailing behind.
"Get out," he growled at Avia. Avia lounged back in her chair and stayed seated. "I told ya, get out" Avia smirked and kicked her chair back so that it was swinging. Jeremiah growled and Age of up to Avia grabbing her by the tie. Avia's eyes widened as Jeremiah raised his hand and smacked Avia across the face. Avia gritted her teeth staring Jeremiah down.
"Dirty little brat," he spat " messing around with vampires"
" Should have raised me better" she replied quickly dodging Jeremiah's next slap. The grown man roared and threw Avia in to the wall. There was a sickening thud as she hit the wall and slumped to the floor, defiance shining in her eyes. Varian cried out as Asia's eyes dropped twice and Jeremiah raised his hand to strike her again. Acting on instinct Varian, Ali,Detoxia,Artemis and Athena stood blocking Avia.
"You'll have to go through us first" Athena spat as Varian cradled his twin.
"Why don't you ever listen?" He whispered softly.
"Because you always do" Varian wrapped his arms around Avia as she lay weakly against the wall. It seemed they her squad had over powered Jeremiah as the man was storming out of the class causing all of the class to stand up and crowd around Avia.

"There taking you two away" Jeremiah told the twins sorrow filling his voice. Avia stared at I'm touching the hand mark on cheek. She was glad to be going. She just didn't know where.
