Avia Rose wasn't normal. That was an understatement. What even was normal any more? Was it her alchemists twin. It her power crazy father. Was it her vampire boyfriend and his sister, or her best friends Athena Danger, Detoxia, Artemis Pendragon and Ali Cynical. Perhaps not but Avia knew for sure that she was not what was called normal now a days.

Avia and Varian Rose had grown up not knowing their mom and living with a power hungry dad like theirs. Jeremiah Rose. Avia and Varian had been born in to a world of death and destruction. Not the best atmosphere for your kids but eh. In Avia's early days a thing, a extra part of her soul, had manifested in to an evil being called Villain. That was one reason Avia wasn't normal. Her and her friends had magic. And they were dangerous.....

Or at least as dangerous at fifteen year olds could be.

Nightfall. The best time of day in a
Avia's opinion. The time when you could see the vampires prowling and hear the wolves howling. Also the best time to sneak out. Grabbing her coat from the door Avia climed out of the window, delicately hitting the ground. No use alerting Jeremiah and Varian. A beam of moonlight shone down bathing Avia in its glow. Five minutes till midnight. Four. Three. Two. One. The howling of wolves suddenly stopped and Avia sprinted from her the beam of moonlight. The vampires prowling stopped and they all scattered as Athena Danger walked into the forest.

Her long black hair and her black clothes made her nearly invisible in the night. The reason too I could see her. Her sparkling golden eyes filled with mischief. Avia wasn't as good at hiding. Her hair, as dark as Athena's had a blue streak in her fringe covering her one eye and her green-gold eyes didn't help. She couldn't hide. Not with her looks.

Avia and her squad were considered the prettiest girls in their school. Everybody wanted them.
