Deku: The rubber hero

The rubber hero prologue

80% of the world's population has a unique trait or ability called a quirk which gives them superhuman abilities but of course when you give a human being powers some will commit crimes.

That's where the new profession came in "heroism" those who risk there lives to protect others, but then there's the other 20% those are the people that are born "normal"

People with quirks treat them like freaks of the pre-quirk era and often are discriminated against and are belittled (how Ironic)

Izuku Midoriya was born as one of the 20%...

Izuku midoriya always wanted to save people, he wanted them to know that they would not have to fear because he was here.

But he soon found out the day he went to see if he had a quirk that not everything was as it seemed.

His first exposure to this harsh reality was him being diagnosed quirkless,

The second was when his own mother couldn't even give him the answer he wanted to hear 'Mom can I be a hero like Allmight?' 'Im so sorry! Izuku' that what his mother told him

The last and finale nail to this figurative coffin was with his friend Katsuki Bakugo started to completely reject him as a friend and would go as far as to bully and abuse him both mentally and physically with his explosion quirk.

Izuku would come home with burns and bruises but would never tell his mother the truth for the sake of his mothers and his Aunt Mitsuki's friendship.

When they were in elementary school Bakugo decided that he would play a prank on Izuku. And got a strange purple fruit he had found in a forest. And cornered Izuku and forced him to eat it.

All Izuku tasted was burned rubber and when he told the teacher, The teacher ignored him.

Then at recess Bakugo and his friends were pushing and pulling on Izuku. All of a sudden Izuku's arm stretched far beyond what a normal person's arm should stretch and they all (including Izuku) screamed.

Later Izukus mom was called and she picked him up and they went to the quirk specialist and they confirmed that Izuku indeed had a quirk which was called rubber.

But they didn't understand why the young boy had gotten it at 6 and not at 4 they concluded that he was a late bloomer. Izuku was visibly jumping of joy. He could not believe that he got a quirk so in celebration. He and his mom went to a restaurant and got his favorite food katsudon.

Later the next day when he went back to school Izuku noticed that everybody was treating him differently.

But then Bakugo approached Izuku with a smirk said 'oi Deku what's your quirk exactly' Izuku said 'oh kacchan it's called rubber', why do you ask?

Pfft, rubber what good is that said the blonde boy. Well, I can stretch Izuku demonstrates by pulling his cheek very far almost an entire foot.

'Ugh, your an even bigger freak now!' yelled the angry pomeranian and everyone in the cafeteria was laughing.

Even in a world where people have far more displeasing quirks Bakugo somehow managed to turn the whole class against Izuku

Izuku got up and ran up into the roof of the school and cried realizing that nothing had changed he was still made fun of with or without a quirk.

But then he remembered what his idol Allmight had once said on television appearances "you too can become a hero" and from that day forward Izuku decided to train he started working out and doing jogs every morning.

He later tried to experiment with his quirk and soon found out he was immune to electricity when one of Bakugo's friends who had a quirk called battery which meant he could touch an electrical source and store it like battery and then release it at will the boy snuck up on Izuku and tried to shock him but it did not work

he also later found out he could nullify blunt attacks thanks to Bakugo but not burns.

He also found out that if he concentrated hard enough he could turn any part of his skin into a very hard shiny black surface Izuku deduced that he could vulcanize his rubber body.

He later also found out projectiles bounce off him. (courtesy of a certain blond) all while his mom was very supportive and since her son started to workout. She decides to get back into shape with Mitsuki and soon returned to her beautiful thin physique which suits her making her look quite younger.

8 years later*
Izuku was now in his last year of middle school he had over the years gotten quite muscular, and he had gotten taller going from 5ft 5 to 5ft 8.

He wore his red shoes with black ripped jeans and a dark green hoodie that said in black Plus ultra! Even with the cooler look, he was still a nerd at heart.

Often muttering to himself about other people's quirks. Also, Bakugo had left him alone ever since an incident, 2 years back when he was doing his usual routine which included saying

'oi, you rubber Deku go to hell!' and then punching Izuku with his quirk.

But something that day made Izuku snap, it was something Bakugo had said that had crossed the line, the next thing Bakugo knew Izuku yelled 'Double palm strike!' and hit Bakugo in the chest with his vulcanized palms and told Bakugo to leave him alone or else

sufficed to say Bakugo left him alone but would not hesitate to mutter curses under his breath.

Sometime later their teacher had brought a stack of papers and said

'time to think of what you want your futures to be....'

all of a sudden he threw the papers and said 'who am I kidding you all want to be heroes'.

'Oh please they'll be lucky to end up as sidekick to a busted D-lister' Bakugo said with a smirk on his face I'm the real deal! I'm going to U.A and I'm going to be the next Allmi-

'Oh Midoriya don't you also want to go to U.A as well?' Bakugo froze in shock and rage that had built up inside of him finally got released and he turned around and slammed his explosive hand onto Izuku's desk and said

'Oi Deku do you really think your better than me huh there is no way you're getting into U.A with that quirk'.

Izuku smirked 'yeah the quirk that got you four broken ribs'.

That set Bakugo off big time 'Im going to kill you fucking Deku!'-

Mr.Bakugo I suggest you sit down if you want to be accepted into U.A at that moment Bakugo sat down and grumbled stupid Deku.
