Evil Queen and Mother Gothel

Theory:
The Evil Queen is known as one of the most iconic and ruthless Disney villains to ever exist. What if the Evil Queen had not actually died in Snow White and instead moved far away so she can become Mother Gothel. In Tangled, the dagger in the drawer that Mother Gothel opens looks very similar to the box and dagger the Evil Queen gives the huntsman in Snow White. There is nothing these two characters care more about than beauty and youth. The Evil Queen becomes insanely jealous of Snow White, the only one whose beauty surpasses her own. Mother Gothel, on the other hand, is obsessed with maintaining her youth. Not only do these two villains have similar personalities, but they also look alike. When Mother Gothel returns to her old age in the end of Tangled, she looks just like the old hag in Snow White.

My Thoughts:
I believe this 45% because they don't look like it could be the same person. I believe Mother Gothel and the Evil Queen could be sisters? What doesn't make sense to my theory is that the daggers are the same. Just maybe, this might be a stupid theory, but what if them being possibly sister that maybe their parents gave them a dagger to protect themselves from the wild. Their parents then three them into the wild. Evil Queen was in a castle so maybe she got adopted into a rich family because the queen and king at the time couldn't have a kid so they got one from wherever they could find one. So the that's probably how the Evil Queen became the queen. Mother Gothel maybe had to grow up in that tower because of them being kicked out. So she stole Rapunzel because she was getting lonely.

Another theory I thought of is that maybe the Evil Queen is Mother Gothel's great grandma because Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs was in a different time than Tangled. That's how the daggers look the same because generations pass it down.

Or Disney is just putting in a little Easter egg just because😂
