I'm still going to marry him

"When are you going to tell mother?" 

They were all sitting in the living room, a movie playing. They decided to have quality time together since it been long since the 3 brothers were together. 

Even if the two older ones had sone tension they decided to act as nothing happened for their younger brother who seemed happy, but when Namjoon popped the question out of know where the whole mood changed, and Taehyungs smile left his face the second he asked about their mother.

Jin paused the movie when he noticed everyone's mood change. He was slightly confused as to why it did, usually, when people get engaged they want everyone to know, posting their engagement ring on social media and brag about their love life. 

He saw how Yoongi pulled Taehyung closer to him, putting his head on the crook of Taehyung's neck, hugging him tightly. 

"I-I don't know" Taehyung finally said, playing with his fingers. He bit his lip, Jin looked closely at Taehyung noticing how his eyes became teary. He got worried for the boy, was it that hard to tell their mother? 

"Taehyung... you have to tell her," Namjoon said back, his voice low and soothing, it surprised Jin how his voice came out, but then again he's speaking to his little brother. 

Taehyung slowly nodded in response, he knew he had to tell his mother. It's his mother, she deserves to know. 

"Taehyung, it's better to tell her sooner than later." Jin looked at Y/n, who was looking at Taehyung caringly. 

Taehyung shot his head up looking terrified. 

"N-Now?" He looked at his brother hoping, he didn't mean right now. He couldn't, he can't bear to see his mother look at him with disappointment, hell she might even scream at him, what if she disowns him... Now that thought made Taehyung start to cry. 

One's they saw tears start to fall from Taehyung eyes, they all went to comfort him. 

"Taehyung I didn't mean now-just tell mother, mother would rather want you to tell her than finding out by someone." 

"Find out what?" 

Everyone froze. Taehyung eyes widen with terror filling them up. 

Everyone slowly turned their heads to the voice. Most of them hoping it wasn't who they thought it was, but once their eyes landed on the person, they lost hope.

"um, Taehyung was just telling us he bought a zoo." Their mother raised her eyebrow at him not looking amused. 

"Sinthia, check if Taehyung purchased... a zoo." She looked at the woman next to her, who took out her iPad and quickly did as what her boss ordered her to do. 

They anxiously looked at their mother's assistant. Y/n looked at Taehyung, maybe he did buy a zoo it wouldn't be surprising since Taehyung buys childish things, but he saw how Taehyung bottom lip start to tremble and he knew what was about to come. 

"No, mam. It looks like he didn't." Once she said that their mother looked at them with a small glare. She crossed her arms looking at them for an explanation. 

Once a minute past and no one said anything she started decided to figure out what her children were hiding from her if they weren't going to say anything.

"Taehyung." She said firmly, she pointed in front of her, everyone knew what she meant. 

Taehyung tried to get up, but Yoongi's grip tightened. Taehyung looked at Yoongi gave him a soft smile and started peel Yoongi's hand from his hips gently. 

"It's okay" 

He got up from Yoongi's lap and slowly moved his way towards his mother, he had his head low not wanting to face her in the eye.  He stopped when his mother's shoes came into view. 

"Taehyung. what are you trying to hind from me?" Taehyung started to play with his fingers again. 

"I-i was not trying to h-hide anything, I was g-going to tell y-you." 

"Well, you can tell me now." She said while looking at Taehyung, trying to figure out what he's going to tell her. 

It was silent for a good second, his mother sighed, she opened her ready to tell Taehyung to spill it when- 

"I'm-I'm getting m-married."  

Once again everything stopped. 

Taehyung bit his lip hard, he was sure he tasted blood. 

"Say that again, Taehyung." The way she said it, he knew she didn't believe him, so with the courage, he had left, he looked straight her dead in the eye (which startled her a bit with the way Taehyung eyes were looking at her) he raised his left hand. 

"I'm getting married." he said more firmly, he saw as to how his mother eyes drifted to his hand and landed on a certain finger. Once her mind registered the ring, her eyes immediately went to Taehyungs teary ones.  

"No," She saw as Taehyung face fall, and when she saw in the corner of her eyes. her other son's start to come up to them especially the so-called finance who his face screamed that he was furious. 

"W-what?" 

"I said no, Taehyung. Your young you don't know what you want." Taehyung looked at her in disbelief. 

"I'm an adult-

"Who acts like a child, and has a mind-set of a teenager." His mother cut him off, she lifted her hand up in the direction of where her sons were coming from stoping them in there tracks. 

"Taehyung, you deserve a young, beautiful woman, who can give you children, can give me grandchild-

"but what about my happiness!" She looked at her son surprised, he just shouted at her. she sighed trying to keep calm, she understood why he was getting like this but this was too much.

"Taehyung, you can be happy with a woman-"

"Not true happiness, NOT as happy as I'm going to be with Yoongi." He was furious how dare his mother turn down his marriage as if she said no then they won't get married, how dare she. 

"Taehyung, this isn't right. A man supposed to be with a WOMAN." She said firmly, she's slowly losing her calmness. 

"BUT I LOVE HIM." He was balling at this point, he sobbed, looking at his mother crying, begging her with his eyes that she would understand his feelings. 

"No, Taehyung-

"I'm still going to marry him, mother. no matter what you say, I don't care if you take away every penny I have. nothing will change my mind, I'm going to marry Yoongi." He said firmly even as tears came down his face. 

 "Fine. Marry that boy, expect some fairy tale, Taehyung? No, this is the real world, Your relationship will be a joke to some people." with that she started to leave him, she heads for the staircase, she was about to go up but she stops. 

Taehyung watches her, hoping that she will turn around and say that shes still loves him as her son or-or something, but the words that come from his mother's mouth, crushes his heart-no his world. 

"Don't expect me at the wedding." and with that, she heads up. Leaving her family in disbelief. 

Did it hurt when she said that? of course, it did, it's her baby's weeding, but she knows this world, it's cruel, most people won't accept their relationship, if she attended that wedding the public would think negative things towards her especially in the business world, they would see her and think 'oh, her son is a fag' it could affect her career, they wouldn't take her seriously anymore. The people will look at her negatively. they'le look at her family negatively, she won't allow that. 

She reached her room, she walks toward her bed and sits at the end, she sighs. 

of course, she wants her sons to be happy, everything she has done was to take care of her sons to provide for them, to keep them safe, even if it's harsh. 

She just wants the best for them. For her family.
