Chris had chosen you to be his forever, and he didn't want to get married to anybody else on the entire planet. He wanted to spend his entire life with you. He wanted you, flaws and all. He loved you through it all. The wedding was going to take place this Friday, and Chris found himself getting more excited the closer the day got.
As for you, picking out the wedding dress seemed like the hardest job in the world at the moment. You would spend your time wedding dress shopping with your friends and family, but not one single dress stuck out to you. Every trip ended with you not liking it, the dress didn't feel right. It was frustrating and overall stressful, but you didn't want to let your soon-to-be-husband to know that.
You knew Chris was already dealing with all the anxiety coming from the wedding planning that you didn't want to pile on anymore distress to the situation.
"I still don't think this is the one," you said, staring at yourself in the large mirror. "I say we try the other one."
The woman nodded and quickly sped off to fetch the other dress. You sigh to yourself and retrieve your phone out of the pocket you placed it in. You gasp as you saw all the notifications from your fiancee, five missed called and five text messages asking where you were. It had totally slipped from your mind that Chris had a special night planned for you tonight.
The nice lady came back in with the dress you asked for, but you politely explained the circumstance to her. Luckily she understood and excused you from the dress fitting, you gave her a very good tip in return. You felt bad for leaving so abruptly, but you were already late to the romantic night that Chris had planned for you at your house.

You barge through the front door, instantly inhaling the sweet smell of your favorite food. Chris poked his head out from the kitchen and smiled widely as he saw that it was you.
"Glad to see you didn't leave me," chris joked, walking out the kitchen while drying his hands on a rag. "now time for that romantic night I promised you."
Chris walked up to you and intertwined his hands with yours, leading you through the kitchen to the most romantic set up you had ever seen. Candles, roses, it was perfection. You smile brightly and peck your lover on the lips before going to sit down. You two gather together your plates of food before Chris began talking.
"I understand that you've been dress shopping lately [Y/N]," chris spoke, cutting into his stake. "and your mother told me about the stress you've been going through lately."
