First Kiss

"Josephine". Jayden walks toward me as Goldie and me walk towards him. Goldie is pulling me as she continues to get closer to him. I wonder if she will lick him. We get within two feet of Jayden. Goldie stops. She cocks her head and then jumps. She's licking his hands. I laugh. I'm glad she likes him. She usually doesn't like males. I look at Jayden's eyes and he turns his gaze from Goldie to me. We lock eyes. He leans in and wraps his arm around me as he pulls me tight. "Can you feel me? I've waited for so long to feel you". And he our lips meet. So soft and he stops. I open my eyes and he looks at me. "This is better than I imagined". He smiles. And I drop Goldies leash as I wrap my arms around him as I lean to kiss him. His lips find mine and he presses against me, so we can feel each other. It's so warm and we match perfectly. I smile. I open my eyes.

I open my eyes. Oh my God. I was asleep! I haven't met him yet. I pull the covers up and notice that I am dressed, but in my jeans and shirt. I grab my phone and look at the time. It's 5:30pm. Crap. I must have fallen asleep. It's time for me to make dinner. I slip my phone in my pocket and head out of the room switching off the light on my way. I walk down the stairs and head to the closet. I grab the prego spaghetti garlic sauce and some noodles. I grab the unthawed beef from the sink. I cut open the beef and put it in the pan and start seasoning it while the pan heats up. I turn and start boiling water in the pot for the noodles. I put the pot on the burner. I lean on the fridge and take my phone out of my pocket. Jayden texted me. "I miss you, can we talk on the phone?". I smile. I respond "Yes! Sounds like a good idea to me!". I quickly yell, "dinners ready"! And I start dishing out dinner.

I put the dishwasher tab into the dishwasher and start it. Grab a water from the fridge and run up the stairs. Goldie runs after me and jumps on the bed as I shut and lock the door to keep my nosey little brothers out. I go to my bathroom and start brushing my teeth. And then my phone start rings. I quickly rinse off my toothbrush and rinse out my mouth. And run over to my phone. I answer "hello". "Hi" responds Jayden. He says "I feel better now that I hear your voice". The sound of his voice makes my cheeks feel hotter and I smile.

"Sweet dreams, Josephine" says Jayden. "Sweet dreams Jayden" I respond back as we end the call. I walk over to my dresser and take out a t-shirt and a pair of pajama pants. I take my clothes off and put them in my silver laundry hamper by my black dresser. I put my bra on the back of my bathroom door and slip my pajamas on. I turn my light out and climb into bed. I hope that Jayden and me will meet soon, I think to myself as sleep takes over my mind.
