I open my eyes. I know I had a dream but I can't remember it. I swear Jayden was in it, but I can't remember what happened. My hand reaches for my phone to turn off the blasted alarm that's barking. I look at the time. Crap! I have twenty five minutes to get ready before my video chat with my students. I run to the shower and turn the water on and start taking my clothes off..

"Bye everyone", I say as I wave to my students that joined my video chat. I end the video session and rate it. It's still hard to do these videos, but it helps my students. They missing seeing their classmates faces and they miss seeing my face. I miss seeing all of them, but I dread us going back to the school building with the last two months of school left. I know all of my little first graders have forgotten the school rules and that many of them will have to go to the bathroom every twenty minutes. I hope that when I have kids one day, that they follow directions better than my students and even my brothers. I wonder if I will ever have kids. I want to have my first child before I'm thirty so I still have some years left. I hope, I'm not getting my hopes up. That Jayden May be the one. I told my mom about him. She said he could be the one. She said because we met during the covid19 apocalypse even though it was on an online dating app. Anyhow, I better check my email. As I scroll through it, there's nothing new and nothing left unopened from previous days. Let me check to see if any of my students did their assignments yet. Nope. I get tired of checking it. I keep note of who completes the assignments, but the district said do not take grades at this time. Well will we take grades on what they doing now at a later time? Half of my students parents wanted more work for their students to do. The parents liked me giving their students 3-4 assignments each day during the week, but then the district changed it to only have four total assignments each week. So I make extra lessons for my students to do, but it's located in a separate class on seesaw AND it's not required. But it bugs me that I put a writing lesson on it for each day of the week and your supposed to progress through it from day 1, to day 2, to day 3, and so on. But the parents have their students do it out of order. I think if they pick and choose the lessons they complete, that it's fine, but the lessons that go in order, should be done in order. I wonder if I should start looking at other careers or start applying for my masters. Or should I start my own book? Should it be a fiction or nonfiction? I hear a ding and turn around and find my phone lit up.
"Yay" I squeal. Jayden texted me. "How is work babe? I miss you". Awe, he's so sweet. How should I respond? "I can't wait to meet you in person" Jayden texts me again before I can respond". "I know! I want to meet you and test our chemistry" I respond. "I don't know if I'll be able to control not touching you" Jayden responds. I blush. I send an embarrassed emoji to him. "I mean, I want to hold your hand when we meet the first time. And I think it will be cute if we have our first kiss during our first meeting" Jayden messages me. "Well, I'm going to pet smart to get Goldie some grooming supplies and treats. Also I need to go to the grocery store to get some fruit, can gloss, dairy, and meat. Do you want to go?" I ask him.  "Sounds like a plan to me! Let's go Wednesday!" Jayden replies. "Okay, I cant wait" I respond smiling. Jayden sends me a picture of him. He is using the bearded guy with a crown Snapchat filter. Jayden may be six years older than me, but he is perfect for me I think. He's sweet, cute, honest, entertaining, and he shares his feelings with me. He says that he can take care of his woman with his income and because he can cook. I would like to be take care of. But I also want to take care of him. I send him back a picture that is the puppy dog filter from Snapchat.
