AMANES POV:

I watched Rei spin around"how do I look?" She hums. She wore skeleton gloves along with a black shirt that had a rib cage print on it. She wore black jeans with combat boots. And lastly her blue hair was up in messy bun"causal." She smiles"that's what I was going for."

I was wearing a black shirt with a red hoodie along with some blue jeans. I grabbed my shoes which was by the door and slipped them on"Tsukasa! We are going now!" I yell out as I see my brother quickly rush down the steps. On the last step though,he jumps onto me. "Have fun Amane!" I nod and hug him back and we leave my house.

It was a chilly fall evening,many people were making their way home. "You and your brother are really close,huh?" Rei speaks up breaking the silence"yea." I reply"most siblings hate each other. It's odd to see a pair that do." I stick my hands into my hoodie pockets"I don't really know why we are so close. It's just we are. I'm...always there for him when he needs me." I told the bluenette"and he's always there for you?"

I don't reply.

Tsukasa never really helps me. If I ask for a favor at school,he'll most likely do it to put on a good show. But at home,I could ask him a simple question and he'd ignore me or be no help.

"Amane?"

"Huh?!"

"Your brother? Does he help you?"

I nod and feel my cheeks burn"yes. He does. Sorry. I spaced out." we continued to walk in silence for a little until I finally spoke up as we were closed to the school. "You think anyone is actually going to come?" Rei stays quiet"if nobody shows up,I'm actually going to be upset." She tells me"this will be the first time I've actually been to a festival." Rei tells me"if it's not like how people say it is,I'm going to be upset." I let out a small laugh and then we approached the school building.

The entrance was filled with Halloween decorations. There was a fog machine which made the room colder as well as darker. All the decorations were tacky. That's for sure.

"I can't believe people actually showed!" Rei yells as I glance at her"but we showed up?" Rei blushes with a nervous smile"o-oh yea..."one side of the hall was cut off. There was a student sitting at a table"hello!" They welcomed"are you both ready to get the scare of your life?!" I looked at Rei who nods shyly"aw,are two dating?" I felt my cheeks burn"n-no! We are j-just friends!" The student laughed"well,I'll let you two in for free because of how cute you are." They whisper"hm? You have to pay?" I hum as they nod"it's only 25 cent though." She then motions you the gate beside her"go on in."

Me and Rei walk threw the gate and make our way down the hall. The room doors were covered in spider webs and fake blood,as well as other cheesy decorations.

"Yea,this is scary alright." I said as Rei nods"yea,it's not really that scary. But they tried! And that's all that-"I then heard moaning"did you hear that Amane?" Rei asks as I nod. "It was like..."and then it happened again"restless moaning?" Rei nods"yea!" She then goes down and pulls out a seal from her boot.

"YOU STILL HAVE THOSE?!" She nods with a smile"why of course! You can't leave your exorcising things at home! You could need them!"

"One..."

Rei then started to mumble a few words to herself.

"I...just need...one..."

I watched sparks fly around her.

"I need...one soul...to be...c....complete..."

I was fixing to speak up but by the time I did,the seal was glowing a bright red. "EVIL SPRIT! PREPARE TO BE EXORCISED!" Rei screams as she throws the seal.

I then heard a scream.

And then a body fell to the floor.

My eyes widened"REI! WHAT THE HECK?!" I scream rushing over to the girl. "Y/N! Are you ok?!" I yell as she grabs her arm"y-yea...j-just barely..."her breathing(?) was shallow"I just...barely m-moved." Her E/C eyes look at Rei.

Rei was shaking and she quickly bowed her head. "I am so so so sorry,Y/N!" She yells"I didn't mean to hurt you!" I then see water hit the floor,and I notice it's Rei's tears.

"Rei..."Y/N mutters.

Rei looks up and wipes her blue eyes"sorry for doing th-that." She frowns"I didn't mean to. I-It was an accident. P-Please forgive m-me!" Y/N sighs and leaves my grasp. I watch her go over to Rei,she puts her pale hand on her shoulder.

"It's ok Rei." Y/N calmly says"I know you didn't mean to hurt me." Rei then sniffles"but your arm!" Rei speaks up in panic. Y/N let out a shallow laugh"it's ok. Really. It's just a flesh wound. I'll pop into the chemist,be right as rain in the morning."(if you get that reference...you can...uh...not have school! Y-yea)

Y/N then wraps her arms around the blue haired girl. Rei cried into Y/N"a-are you sure y-you're arm won't f-fall off or-"Y/N shakes her head"trust me...I'll be alright." Y/N let's go and pushes her self away.

Y/N lifts up her uniform sleeve. I heard a gasp come from Rei"y-your a-arms!" I was actually lost...what about her arms? "See? Barely got me." She then rolls down her sleeve again and looks over at seal and then looks back at the girl.

"You'll be fine exorcist someday Rei."
