"Holy shit," Zack says as he looks at all the stores that just sat in the now-empty shopping center.
"It looks like all the stuff is still here!" Y/N says with excitement clear in her voice. "Let's steal some shit." She says with a mischievous look in her eye.
Zack can only get the same look and run into the first store he sees. It happened to be an H&M. All the clothes still seemed to be hanging on the hangers untouched.
'I wonder what happened to this place.' He thinks before pushing the thought to the back of his mind completely and picking up a pair of sweat pants.
Y/N was in the store next door. It was Victoria's Secret. Zack and she may not be dating or anything like that but she would love to see the look on his face when she walks into the room dressed in only the skimpy underwear that was on display here.
Grabbing a basket she picks up all the lingerie the liked, she skipped out the store, different fantasies playing out in her head.
The two went around the center grabbing clothes, shoes and the essentials like forks and knives.
They already had a full cart and Zack went to get another one when he found and electronic store. He called Y/N over to come to check it out. She squealed in excitement and ran in. Just their luck all the electronics seemed to be in almost perfect condition.
Y/N went crazy seeing as they didn't have a TV. Or washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, or wifi router.

The young adults got back to their house with 2 carts full of things they took (stole) from the shopping center. They were pretty much the only ones in that town so there wasn't really anyone to stop them.
Even though the fatigue from walking all the way to Fort Skamma, checking out their new house, confessing their love, stocking up on food, and stealing a whole bunch of stuff from an abandoned shopping center was catching up to them they pushed through with several pots of coffee that they made with a stolen coffee pot.
The two instantly started getting to work on fixing everything they got into their house.
First, they swept and cleaned the floors. Then cleaned and wiped down the counters and tables. After that then installed their washing machine and dishwasher.
From there they started putting in the wifi and TV. Connecting the tv to the stolen Netflix, they unwrapped very much stolen ipads and phones cause why leave perfectly good apple products sitting to rot?
They put away their food and utensils. And finally, the last thing they took the tags off all their clothes and put them away in their shared bedroom.
They were both exhausted and didn't want anything else than to take a hot shower and cuddle with the one they loved. (though love unproclaimed)
Zack pov
I told Y/N I was going to shower and she just nodded clearly tired from our very eventful past 2 days.
I got into the shower and just let the hot water flow over me.
I still can't believe she feels the same. I didn't think anyone could ever love a killer like me. But then I find this amazingly beautiful girl that loves to kill just as much as me and she loves me too. I think God had some leftover blessing to hand out and I won the random coin toss.
I get out of the shower to see N/N spread across the whole bed, fast asleep. A little drool coming from the side of her mouth.
It was the most adorable thing I have ever seen and I just had to take a picture.
After taking a picture and making it my screen saver, I woke her up slowly so she could take a shower.
I may love her but she smells dank and I don't need that shit cuddling up against me killing my nose.
Once I finally get awake she goes and takes a shower.
I wanted to be a good boyfriend (cause I think that's what we are...?) and make is some food.
Me being the useless fuck I am, I don't know how to cook or make food out of the random shit N/N bought I just made us instant noodles.
Once they were done I added seasoning and hot sauce to make it a little more interesting. I got us both soda and took them to the living room.
I saw Y/N walking down the stairs in one of my shirts which were too big on her and some sweat pants.
Her hair was put up in a bun (if you have long hair of braids) / behind her ear (if you have short hair). She looked adorable.
She came and plopped herself right on my lap while grabbing the remote and blanket. She kissed me on the cheek and thanked me for the noodles and we started eating.
Scrolling through Netflix when we found this show called 'Steven universe'. It seemed to be a cartoon but N/N really seemed to be interested in it so we started watching it.
Little time skip
We are on the second season and this show is badass. The songs slap and that Garnet chick is badass. I think Steven is going to have some kind of trauma after this whole thing is over but hey idk (🤷🏾♀️).
~•~•~•~•~•~•~ We started falling asleep on the couch so we went upstairs, brushed our teeth and got into bed.
Just like the night before I opened my arms and N/N climbed into them. Making me feel safe, loved and complete.
I could stay like this and I want to say like this forever.
I was starting to fall asleep when Y/N looks up at me. She was clearly fighting sleep and it seemed to be winning but I listened to what she had to say.
"Zack, I Y/N L/N am in love with you and want to stay with you forever. Do you accept?"
I laughed at how serious she was,
"I do, and will forever."
