one - first day back

Raezora had sat on the stairs messing with her chip, which glowed yellow when she looked at Jaiden. Jaiden and Phantom were sitting on the couch next to each other, rambling on about some stupid scab.

"Maybe you shouldn't do that..It'll get worse over time.." Jaiden says promptly. "Fine, anyways, we need to get to school before we're late." Phantom then says, putting her headphones in her backpack.

Raezora stood up from the stairs, looking tired. "Did you not charge enough last night?" Jaiden said, looking concerned. "No, can't you tell?" Raezora said gripping her backpack while putting her blue jacket on.

Phantom spun around some nunchucks before tossing them in her bag. "Raezora, what does RK900 mean?" Jaiden said confused as he read the front of Raezora's jacket. "Didn't I tell you no to that question?" Raezora said as she fixed her tie. Jaiden sighed and walked out the door into the cool outdoors.

Jaiden pulled back his hair as Raezora held open the door to the freezing cold school. "I-Is it a-always t-this c-cold?" Jaiden said as he shivered. Raezora nodded her head and said, "Of course, they don't pay for the air conditioning bills."

Raezora's breath separated as her chip glowed red, Jaiden (being the concerned brother he is) asks Raezora "Doesn't the principal know you're part android? Just ask her for some time for you to charge" Raezora nodded and texted the principal.

Phantom finally walked into the school,
people giving her scared looks and even some running away. "Such scaredy-cats, I swear.." she says walking over to her locker, placing her bag in it."Phantom took out her headphones and leaned up against the wall, blasting music in her headphones.

Raezora opened her locker placing a cup
of blue blood in it. A random student walked behind Raezora with a face of disgust while saying, "Ew, what is that?" Raezora rolled her eyes and said, "your mom's dead ashes" The student looked confused and said "My mom's ashes aren't blue..??" Raezora looked at the student from a reflection and scanned his face. "How would you know? You never went to her funeral" Raezora then said making the student look down at his feet, causing him to walk away.

Raezora smirked at the student and Phantom walked over to her, taking off her headphones. "chill out" Phantom said quietly as Raezora looked at the student from down the hall. Raezora's phone rung and she read a message. "the dean said i can take twenty minutes to charge" Raezora said putting her phone away. "Good." Phantom said as she sighed in relief.

The two siblings walked down the hallway towards English Class as Raezora closed her eyes and charged. Jaiden yawned, stretching his long arms. Phantom spun around a pencil in her hand, walking in-front of Jaiden. The teacher whispered in Jaiden's ear asking if Raezora would be charging. Jaiden had nodded his head and sat down.

In the middle of class, Raezora walked in and Mr. Davis greets her. "Hello, Raezora!" he says and Raezora plainly says hello before sitting down. She set down a pencil and wiped some blue blood of off her lip, sighing heavily.

Phantom took notes quickly as Jaiden stared at Raezora's left eye with a blue circle in it. "hm" Jaiden said examining it. Mr. Davis handed out the main assignment and Raezora had stopped recording the lesson. "Do your work, doofus" Phantom said making Jaiden snap back into reality. "o-oh sorry-" he said as he watched Raezora turn in her assignment before anyone else. Jaiden looked confused as Phantom also got up and turned in her assignment after Raezora.

They both then sat down, Raezora closed her eyes and her chip went gray. "Are you awake?" Phantom said before hitting Raezora on the back of the head like a remote. Raezora didn't respond, so Phantom called Mr. Davis over. He walked over and asked Phantom what she had wanted. "Whatcha need?" he said standing next to Phantom. "sir raezora passed out" she said pointing to Raezora. Mr. Davis tilted his head and looked at Raezora's chip. "Oh, nothing to worry about, she's just idle" he said smiling.

The bell rang and Raezora opened her eyes, standing up. "what's everyone lookin' at me for?" Raezora said confused. "Oh, I thought you passed out-" Phantom says also getting up. "i was just taking the rest of class to update my stability software lol" she said poking at her chip and walking out of class.

Phantom walked out of class and watched Raezora and Jaiden walk to Math class. She slipped into the bathroom quickly and pulled her headphones over her ears, putting the volume on high. Raezora checked behind her to see that Phantom wasn't there. Raezora walked into the bathroom and said, "Phantom, come to class. It's still the first day y'know" Phantom took off her headphones and looked at the tall girl. "But class is soo boring.." Phantom had said sighing heavily. "Then just don't listen." Raezora had said before walking out. Phantom had listened to the clacking of Raezora's shoes disappear down the hallway. She then shrugged and walked behind her.

Raezora sat down and Jaiden looked at the blue circle reappear in her left eye. "ah, so she's recording.." Jaiden had whispered to himself. About thirty minutes later of lecturing and equations, the teacher passed out the assignment. Phantom looked at Jaiden as he was in deep focus while looking at the blue circle disappear in Raezora's eye. "she's recording for studying purposes" Phantom whispered to Jaiden before folding the assignment and putting it in her pocket. Raezora stood up and turned in her assignment as Jaiden stared at her in awe. "How does she finish that quick-" Jaiden spoke softly.

After class, Raezora walked to her locker and opened it. She drank the cup of blue blood and placed it in her locker before shutting it. Raezora followed behind Phantom and Jaiden while walking into lunch.
