Chapter Five-Allergic Coincidences

When I wake up in the morning, I feel nothing but despair. I don't want to lie to them, to Four. I have a quick shower, washing my blonde hair, drying it before styling the wig into a messy ponytail and pinning it to my head. I decide to do what Four told me and wear clothes which are me. Black-grey ripped shorts and a white t-shirt with the words What the Hell. Splattered on in black. My black combat boot goes with the foot brace. If only I had my normal hair, but this risking it enough. I don't want Darks coming to kill me. I grab an apple and my green combat school side bag with badges on it, dumping my CIA pass in between some books, my gun in a side pocket and my knife in my combat boot, clipping my 'hearing aid' over my ear. I walk outside, locking the door, and sit on the curb.

"That's better." I look up to see Four, he chucks a helmet at me.

"On you get." I clip the black helmet on my head.

"Is this your helmet?" I ask, he nods. "But what if we crash?" Four gives a small laugh.

"Then you live and have to look after my little brothers and sister as a thank you." He says laughing, I punch his stomach.

"Not funny Four!" I shout, he smiles and picks me up, dumping me on the motorbike. I loop my arms round him and he sets off and a normal speed which means I can enjoy the journey a little bit more than I did last time. When we reach school I carefully unclip my helmet, making sure the wig doesn't come off and I check my skin cream is still hiding my tattoos.

"Tally, come on." Four says, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards science. We must be late. When we get there I look Four in the eye with my eyebrows raised. He drops my hand.

"Sorry." He says, looking down.

"It's fine, it's just..." I want to tell him I've never had a boyfriend, but that's Tris, of course Tally would have had a boyfriend in her entire school life. At some point. We head inside the class room and slip into our seats. Prepare for a day of boringness.

3 Weeks Later

I play with the cake on my plate, I've been miserable since PSHE, when Four decided it was a good idea to bad mouth Caleb and my parents in front of me. Not that he knows that.

"Tally, you gonna eat that?" Uriah asks hopefully, I shove the plate towards him.

"Knock yourself out."

The whole group stares at me, Zeke puts a hand on my forehead.

"I think Tally's sick." I bat his hand away.

"I'm fine."

"She's just grumpy cause I said something about Tris Prior's Family." Four says, I want to respond but the bell cuts off my thoughts. Christina pulls me to my feet.

"Tally, can I henna you for my art project!" She says.

"Why don't you do one of the others." I respond tiredly.

"They don't trust me, it's homemade, so come on." I hardly have time to pick up my bag before Im being raced down the corridors. Jen smiles when she sees Christina.
"Finally found someone to Henna?" She asks with a grin. Christina nods.

"Yeah!!" The gang comes to sit with us as Christina pushes me into a seat and places my right arm on the table. I watch nervous as she fills a small piping bag with a brown liquid. She begins at the tip of my pointing finger and works her way down in, diagonally over the back of my hand and all the way up my arm with beautiful patterns. Flowers, swirls and dots.

"Just sit here and let it dry for the rest of the lesson and then I'll wipe it off and see how it looks." Christina orders. I pull my book and my bag and sit reading it for the rest of the lesson, well, until I'm interrupted by Four removing it from my hand.

"How are you on this fine Friday afternoon Talia Youngblood?"

"I'm worried this homemade Henna stuff is gonna burn my hand off number boy."

"Well, Zeke and Uriah have invited us all to a weekend sleepover at theirs starting tonight. You coming?"

"Let me check with the parent that doesn't exist." I put my finger on my hearing aid, Four chuckles, he thinks I'm joking.

Yes you can go Tris.

Tori says. I grin at Four.

"The Gods have spoken. I can go." Four smiles.

"I'll drive you home and help you grab some stuff."

"What about your brothers and sister, and your stuff?"

"Their going for restbite care until Monday night, and my stuffs already at Zeke's." I smile, Four doesn't.

"Tally, your hands bleeding. CHRISTINA!!!" Chrissy runs over and grabs my hand.

"Shes having an allergic reaction to the dye. Tally? Do you have an Epipen?" I shake my head.

"Four, I need you to carry her to the nurse. She could collapse if the reaction goes further." I try to protest as Four loops his arms round me and picks me up, my legs around his waist and my arms round his neck. My head pounds so I bury it in Fours neck, breathing him in.
