Eunice
I aimed my gun forward as me and the girls made our way down these hallways, checking every corner for any of Jason's men. This whole place turned into a ghost town so quickly, almost makes me wanna go straight to Huston and kill him myself like I did with Bryan. It's like nothing can be trusted anymore.
"What did John mean by Ghost?" Cris asked as Jessie turned to one corner to check and followed beside me again. I sighed.
"Huston's alive," I said, all the girls looked at me as we continued to walk down the hall. I can tell they all had the look of worry on their faces.
"He's- alive? How?" Tessa asked, as I clicked my watch.
"Thomas? Is everyone all accounted for?" I asked as Thomas responded.
"Will and John just showed up, everyone except you girls, so where are you?" Thomas asked as I looked at the girls.
"Just start sending people to the facility, we're on our way." I ended the call and looked at the girls.
"They're all accounted for, including Will and John. We just need to meet them there and follow them to the facility. Knowing those guys, they will wait for us." I said, seeing the girls nod. Then all of the sudden, I heard a gunshot sound off and strike the wall above my head. I ducked just in time to dodge the bullet. I pulled myself to stand back up and looked towards the source of the shot.
"There she is!" It was Huston, all the way down the hallway. My eyes widened. It was almost like I was looking at a ghostly figure as he emerged from the darkness of the hallway.
"Eunice, Get behind us!" Cris yelled as Tessa stood in front of me and held me behind her. Damn.
"Long time no see love, how have you been?" Huston replied, slowly making his way down the hallway towards us. I noticed Jason was following behind him as well as a really huge bodyguard. I stood there behind Cris and Tess in the middle of the girls. Love? This guy disgusts me.
"Don't call me love, I'm not your wife, you creep." I snarled back, all the girls cocked their guns and aimed it right at Huston. Huston only chuckled, seeing Jason do the same and the bodyguard crossed his arms over his chest.
"This is not the welcome I was expecting love, it's been such a long time since I've seen you. You don't exactly know why that proposal came in to place, now do you?" Huston asked as I looked at him. What the heck is that supposed to mean?
"What the hell is that supposed to mean you old creep?" Jessica shouted as Huston laughed.
"I was never after her, her mother was the cause of all this madness to begin with in the first place." Huston snarled as soon as his smile went away. My eyes widened as he mentioned my mother.
"What does my mother have to do with any of this?! She's done nothing to you!" I shouted as the girls held me back. Huston chuckled and then suddenly his face became sour.
"She's ruined everything!" He yelled as Cris held me back.

"You're mother and I met in college. I'm not sure if she even bothered to tell you but, I fell in love with her. I thought she was the one for me, we dated for almost 2 years, I wanted to marry her, but something got in the way. She met your father not too long after our 2nd year anniversary, she told me they were classmates back from high school and were the bestest of friends. It brought jealousy to my head every single time I saw them spend time together, hanging out, studying since they were in the same courses in College together. I couldn't hold it in anymore. I got so angry with her, I told her to stop seeing him. She looked me dead in the eyes and asked why. I just forbid her to ever see him without no explanation. As weeks went by, I didn't trust her to go out alone anymore, I stayed with her as best as I could to make sure your father wouldn't go near her, she didn't hesitate, if anything, she avoided looking at him every time. Until that one day, I came by her college main entrance and I ended up seeing her get pulled back by your father, talking to her. I grew mad, I stormed up to them and pulled her away from him. I started shouting at him, demanding him to stay away from your mother as he tried to speak your mother, she ended up defending him instead of me. She told me how controlling I've become and how much I've changed. She defended him. Him. At that moment, I grew so mad, I ended up slapping her straight across the face and stormed away."
