(Note:
Hey yall I wasn't going to do a not at the beginning of this chapter as I'm guessing it's quite annoying but i wrote this chapter quickly and in the middle of the night coz my sleep schedule is fucked and also sorry if it's all sappy crap I wrote this during and after my regular midnight breakdowns lmao coz life's just not good as you all can see. so anyway I thought I'd write another chapter and also I just wanted to say I hope everyone is doing well during this scary time and if anyone feels lost or scared or just needs someone to talk too then I'm here. This I'll get back. No matter how scary things get, things pass and hope always endures. I wish you all good health mentally and physically and a nice day💖)
Also maybe a TW but a small one

It felt like time had stopped. Larry couldn't breathe. He noticed how the crowds stood still and how everyone was watching him. Travis, despite heavily bleeding and on his knees in pain, still managed to give him that horrible, smug smile he did.

"What" he breathed out.

Nothing happened. His mind was fuzzy. He was half certain he'd pass out.

"What the fuck" he said again, he felt like he was in a world of his own.

He saw travis standing up. He was smiling but it was a sinister smile. He knew travis was angry. He knew what was coming next.
He watched travis form a fist. It was so close to his face.

"What the hell is going on here ?!" A big, deep voice shouted. The principal. Larry was saved.
He didn't feel saved.

He forgot much after that. The last he knew he was about to get punched and now he was sat on a chair, next to travis, in the principles office with his head hung shamefully low. The room was blue, the lights were off and the curtains were half open so only a small bit of light was shining in.

He couldn't hear much. Well, actually he could hear very well but he's decided to drown it out. He couldn't understand what Sal said. There were two ways that this could've happened, Sal could've fell over, being the clumsy person he is or something else he didn't want to think about. Larry forced himself to believe it was the first of the two.

He thought a lot. He thought about anything and everything until it was over. And when it was over, he ran out as quickly as he could. He grabbed his stuff and went straight off of school. He had no idea where Sal would be but he swore he would never rest until he saw him.

He searched anywhere he could.
The park: he looked inside he tunnel they always sat and chatted in late at night. Sal wasn't there.
The beach: a place they walked along and played sanity falls down till the early hours of the morning. No Sal there either.
The treehouse: where they'd always have their deep conversations. No sign.
He checked so many places. He even looked in places they'd never been before or in scary alleyways. He'd do anything to find Sal at this point.

It got dark quickly and he decided to call it a day and hope that Sal had just gone home, which would've been a good idea for him to check first but he was so worked up he didn't think of that.

Making his way to the tall and sketchy apartments, he saw a figure on the rooftops. He saw that blue hear from miles away and instantly recognised him. A smile spread over his face and relief filled his body.
But then he remembered.
The last time Sal was up there, he had to drag him down and smash a bottle on the floor.

The smile left as he ran up the stairs, his breath fell short and the nauseating feeling was rising in him and he didn't know whether it came from the constant running or the anxiousness.
He reached the top and had to stop for a breath for he needed to collect himself in case he saw something he didn't want to.
