Author's Note

Hey, all you Wattpad readers out there! If you're reading this, you're instantly an awesome person. I'm just sayin'. My name is Simone. It is NOT pronounced Simon. I am indeed a female. It is Sih-moan. It's a very...interesting name. Just so you know, my two best friends and I are still writing this story so be patient. Well, I'm going to post this now. Wish me luck.(:

Chapter One: Goodbyes and Plane Rides...

Simone's POV

"Flight 479 will now begin boarding," the boring voice on the intercom stated.

I stood up and faced Bree giving her an excited smile trying to hide how nervous I really was. Of course, she saw right through it.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Bree asked hesitantly.

"Yes," I said trying to sound like I wasn't scared out of my mind.

"Come on! Get excited! We're going to London! It's the city where everyone has cool British accents. We've been faking those accents since we were twelve. I know you're nervous, but we've been planning this for too long," she said quickly with pleading eyes.

"I know. I think I'm just scared about leaving home for so long. It'll pass. I just need to be distracted," my voice wavering slightly.

"Don't worry. Abby and I will be here for you," Bree said, "Speaking of Abby, where the heck is she? The flight is gonna leave soon!"

We both looked around frantically for her until I spotted her hugging her mom and crying into her shoulder. Abby's mom stroked her hair and whispered something into her ear. Abby let go of her mom reluctantly. It wasn't going to be easy for her. She and her mom were always close. I looked over at Bree and saw her watching them with envy. She always wished her mom cared about her like Abby's mom did. Abby gave her mom one last hug before walking towards us.

"Abby, it's time to go! Ready?" Bree said excitedly.

"I've never been more ready for anything in my life," she said wiping the tears from her puffy eyes.

We pulled our backpacks on and joined hands.

"We stick together. Okay?" I said quietly.

"Always," Bree and Abby replied instantly.

And with that, we boarded the plane.

Abby's POV

As we walked aboard hand in hand, I couldn't help but think about my mom. I was going to miss her so much, always being there when I woke up. But we have been waiting for this for years, I couldn't miss this opportunity. I looked back one last time and saw her wave and smile through her tears. I waved back and continued with my two friends towards the door of the plane.

I took a seat closest to the aisle, Bree next to the window, and Simone in the middle of us. I pulled my pack of gum out handed a piece to Simone and Bree. They smiled but didn't say a word back. Wow. They must be really nervous about leaving if they aren't talking.

Some lady in a way too short navy skirt and white tight button down shirt started talking about safety and exits and all that boring stuff. I got bored with the info and zoned out. My stomach was growling begging me to feed it. It needed food like...right now. I started to move around in my seat in annoyance of not having anything to eat. I can't believe I forgot to pack food. We haven't even lifted off yet and, I am starving!

As if she was reading my mind, Bree leaned over and handed me four chocolate granola bars. Ohh yeahh! Finally, I have food for my tummy.

I wrapped my gum in the wrapper and put it on the side of my bag and started munching down my first granola bar. Then, a thought came to me.

"Why is Simone so quiet?"

I looked at her and she was reading some magazine. I don't understand why she was so quiet. Maybe she actually took her pills today. No, she wouldn't do that. She only takes them when things get bad. Her eyes would be redder from all the crying. Well, that's a shame.

Bree's POV

I couldn't help but feel the little rush of adrenaline as the plane took off, the plane beginning to tilt the nose up. Here we go! We could finally get away and live on our own.

Once we were in the air, I felt my eyelids daring to droop down. It was really early in the morning, and I didn't get to much sleep because I made sure Simone packed everything well. I guess I wasn't the only one who was tired because I watched Simone yawn and put her latest issue of Cosmopolitan down, letting her head fall back on the seat.

Her curious brown eyes looked around the plane until they landed on me, one eyebrow raising in a questioning matter. She closed her eyes, putting her head on my shoulder. That one little thing was all it took for me to completely knock out, letting the darkness envelope me.

I didn't know how long I slept, I just remember waking up to the sound of the muffled voice in the intercom, but I honestly had no idea what the heck was going on.

Abby and Simone were busy playing a game on some sort of device that I don't remember them owning. When did they get that?

"Are we landing?" I asked, letting a small yawn escape my mouth.

"Yupperoni!" Simone said with a smile so big that I was kind of afraid it would break her face.

They continued their little game, yelling and swearing whenever they would mess up. Eventually the flight attended came around, complaining to Simone that they were causing a distraction. Right when the lady turned around, Simone stuck her tongue out at her, pouting her lips and sitting back into her chair.

The plane landed smoothly, which actually was a life saver considering I was thinking about every possible way that it could go wrong.

"Oh My Gosh! We made it! Now we can pretend to be British all we want!!!" Simone yelled a little too loudly, earning glares from the people around us.

"Yay!" Abby squealed, her blue eyes shimmering.

"Guys, let's go get our luggage! The we can get to our flat, apartment, or whatever you call it, and you guys can yell as loud as you want." I said.

They both nodded, their head reminding me of bobble heads.

We claimed our baggage and made our way to the taxi out front. From there, we reached our flat in about twenty minutes, giving us plenty of time to get settled in.

"Hurry up! I wanna go inside," Abby yelled running to the door and trying to stick the key into the whole, but of course, she kept fumbling around, the keys almost falling twice.

I hoped my dad called the manager to get all the locks off the door, it was the least he could do since he hardly paid any attention to me. I didn't want another incident to happen. It was too scary and heartbreaking the last time.

I pulled the One Direction concert tickets out that I was able to get with some of the money we made at our old jobs in America. We're definitely going to have some serious fun in London.
