I have been blessed with having a best friend in the whole world. We have the best of friends, like sisters, since we were born. She is the only sister that I will ever have. My parents could not have any more children after having me and they having best friends who had a baby at the same time and living next door made it easier for her and I to basically be sisters. I would do anything for her and she would do anything for me and it was like this our whole lives.
Then when she found her mate, the soon to be beta, they wanted to expand their own family and have kids. The only problem being is she found out that because of an abdominal wound when we were 7, the scarring was so bad that it caused her not to be able to get pregnant. They were devastated to learn that.
So in the long run, since I blamed that she got hurt to save me, that I would step in an be a surrogate mother for her and her mate. They have wanted a baby for so long, and as I had a checkup to make sure that I could, volunteered my body for them. We were both 19 so legally I had my say in this.
The doctors tried to talk me out of it, but I stood firm in my belief that this will help them and I still blamed myself for her scarring. You see we were taking our usual run in the woods and I was in lead, when a couple of rogues attacked me. She saved me but in the process she got injured. Both rogues bit her on both sides of her stomach and the results being the scar tissue accumulated and now she cannot have kids.
The procedure was very easy. The doctors and nurses helped us so much and after the third try it was successful. I am now pregnant with twins. Yes they implanted two embryos into me and they both are well.
We are now 6 months pregnant and due to deliver in the next 2 weeks. Yes I said we because I am not the only one caring for the twins. I moved into their house while I have been pregnant so they can watch me during the pregnancy. They need to do this because I don't know if I would be able to do it again as I have not found my mate yet and when I do he probably won't let me do it again. But if I find my mate and he agrees I would do it all again for them. Anyway, we are all ready for the babies to be born. We are having a boy and a girl. I am so happy for them, they get one of each gender. The babies room is ready as well as all the baby supplies, we are only waiting for me to go into labor which could be any time.
When I go into labor and get rushed to the hospital I find my mate there. He is also waiting for his girlfriend, who is in labor, to have his baby. I had to put all the hurt I felt in the back of my mind as it could cause problems for the delivery. Lets just say I was so pissed. Oh, shrug it off for now!!
After delivering our babies, I was in my room when he showed up. He was mad at me, yelling how could I do this to him, his mate having a baby that is not his. I just told him to leave. Then he left. I mean, how could he say that when his own girlfriend is having his baby and what not. I was so mad, also very glad that I was alone when he confronted me, my sister did not need to know about this when she finally has her day.
When I was released I found out that he is the beta of the pack in the next state. They were travelling back home from visiting another pack and she went into labor on their way home. No wonder I could not find my mate when he was already with another. He did not look for me because he was a player and got one of his lady friends pregnant and he was yelling at me. It seems that she was having false labor and they got sent home was they calmed her down. They will have to wait another month before the baby girl is born. Yes, I found out all the information from a nurse friend in the hospital that found out that he is my mate and wanted to help me. It was really wrong of her to give me information but I needed the info badly. It was causing me stress without knowing all about him and his girlfriend and their baby that really should have been me. He is my mate after all and not hers.
