The underworld is a place where the human empire and the dark territory are currently at war with each other. The guardians of the human empire are known as the Integrity Knights, who have been dispatched all over the world to maintain order. But is the order they maintain justified; also do they even consider the feelings of the citizens when apprehending someone? No one knows the true motives of the Integrity Knights or even where they came from but that will eventually change.
Ruild Village is a village located in Norlangarth North Empire and is the home town of two boys. The Village itself is elevated on a small hill surrounded by trees and forests. However, one tree stood larger than the rest, it is called the Gigas Cedar, and these two boys have been assigned the sacred task of chopping it down. Let's meet one of the boys now. In a nearby forest was a boy about the age of 10. The boy had black hair and eyes as well as wore a hand-sewed pale blue short-sleeved T-shirt. He carried a wooden sword and was gathering materials to help his childhood friend. As he continued to look around the boy finally spoke, "Looks like this forest has already been emptied. I wonder if Eugeo is having any better luck". Just then the boy heard rustling sounds coming from the bush. Drawing his wooden sword, the boy yelled towards the direction he heard the sounds from. "Who's There," the boy said pointing his sword.
After a few seconds, a shadowy figure stepped out looking directly at the boy. The figure then stepped out of the shadows revealing her blond hair and blue eyes. The boy who now saw the girl in front of him withdrew his sword and asked "What are you doing here? Don't you know this isn't a safe place to be"? The girl was silent. The boy then scratched his head and asked:" Okay different question, what is your name?". The girl responded, "My name...I think is Alice Zuberg". The boy now knowing the girl's name, introduced himself, "Well Alice, my name is Kirito and I am still wondering why are you here?"." I could ask you the same thing" replied Alice. Kirito then saw her looking around and figured out" ...you got lost didn't you". Alice didn't reply to that comment. "Well, I was about to head back to Ruild Village anyways. If you want, I could lead you there." Kirito offered. Alice then responded, "Very well, I will take you on your offer".
Just then before Alice or Kirito could start moving, they heard a large roar. "Uh...that's not good," Kirito said. They heard large foot stomps approaching them. In a sinister voice, "Well looks like I hit the jackpot. Looking around the forest for a decent meal and you find two delicious humans". The voice came from a large goblin looking creature and was staring at Kirito and Alice. "Damn it not Now" Kirito thought to himself. Kirito then dropped the wooden sword and pulled out a Black Sword from the sack he was carrying. Kirito then said, "I should finish this as fast as I can". Kirito then looked at Alice and said "Alice go somewhere safe and hide. I will take care of this thing". Alice then responded, "Okay Kirito, but you better come back to me alive". After giving one more look at Kirito, Alice heads towards a nearby cave. Kirito then looks at his sword, "Well I know you are exhausted but just hold out for a little more my Night Sky Sword". The goblin then said, "What a fancy looking toy you have there, too bad it won't help you". The goblin then begins to rush Kirito. Kirito dodges and attacks the goblin's lower leg. "Aincard-Style: Slant", Kirito's sword glowed blue and delivered a powerful slash towards the goblin causing its leg to bleed. Looking at where the cut was at and the goblin commented "Well not bad, but do you really think a cut like this is enough to stop me". The goblin then smashes the ground causing Kirito to lose balance. The goblin then knocks Kirito into the air. But Kirito then went into a thrusting stance in mid-air, "Aincard-Style: Vorpal Strike". Kirito thrusts his sword forward releasing a long red density beam cutting off the goblin's head. The goblin's body then fell where it was standing as Kirito safely landed onto the ground. "Okay now that's taken off, Where's Alice". Before he could continue his thoughts, a wild bear jumped at him. Kirito had already sheathed his sword when he landed, "Crap not enough time to strike". Just then, "Vertical Arc". The bear was killed in one attack and the person who did that attack was Alice who was holding a golden sword.
Taking shelter in a nearby cave Kirito commented, "Well I did not know you had a weapon on you. But thanks anyway for saving me from that bear". Alice then responded," No problem and sorry". Kirito then was confused, "Sorry...for what". Alice continued, "I'm sorry for not showing you I had a weapon earlier. But I really wanted to hide the fact that I had the Fragment Olive Sword". Just then before Kirito could continue, his own Night Sky Sword reacted to Alice's blade. "Huh, ...that hasn't happened ever since it was in contact with Eugeo's Blue Rose Sword". Kirito then thought to himself, "But if that's the case then that means Alice's blade is the same class and mine and Eugeo's swords". Kirito then looked at the worried Alice and said in a friendly tone, "Don't worry about it, I mean I wasn't planning on revealing my Black Sword to you either. So, let's say that makes us even". Alice then responded, "I guess your right". Kirito then got up and said, "Well let's start heading back towards Ruild Village before it becomes dark outside". Alice nodded and followed Kirito. Kirito then asked "By the way do you have a place to stay". Alice then said "Umm...". Kirito then said, "I guess not,...well, I guess you could stay at the same church me and Eugeo are staying at". Alice took on Kirito's offer and continued walking. After what seemed like minutes, they finally arrived back at Ruild Village. Kirito then said, "Why don't you start looking around the Village. I have to go meet up with Eugeo to see if he found anything and to see if we could get you a room at the church." Before Alice could say anything, Kirito already left and she was left to wonder the Village. Alice then looked at where Kirito was heading and smiled. She then began looking around the village as Kirito suggested and began to wonder what the future has in store for them.
