Chapter 21 - NEVER

Time flies so fast,
I am wearing my best outfit of the day (ootd). The adjustments , the real situation being studious, the sleptless nights, the hardship during my thesis . I must say striving hard to succeed is eventually the most satisfying moment of my life.

Hindi na din ako nakibalita sa mga kamag-anak ko sa Pinas. Only my mom. Everyday walang patid ang facetime naming mag-ina. Well knowing my mom, lahat kinukwento nya. But I'm not all ears . I am so much contented na masaya sya and I am more than happy with her right now. She has a boyfriend which is yung boss pala nya. Who I am to judge? Sino ako para hadlangan ang lovelife ng aking ina. Matanda na ako. I am nearing my 23rd of my existence.

Now my mom stand beside as I waited my name to call. It's my graduation day today.

"Lysa Antonette Ilagan". I sigh, and proudly smile . Umakyat kaming stage , holding my degree diploma. I am now harvesting the fruit of my success.

"Congratulations babe". Bati saakin ni Red pagkababa namin . He's with usual 3piece suit. With a bouquet .

Ang tagal nyang naghihintay sakin for 4 years. He's definitely tired of patiently waiting. And I guess it's time to end it . It is long enough. And As I was busy building my self again. He's eager to pursue me and I gladly accepted it. Nililigawan nya pa din ako hanggang ngayon. I mean araw araw naman. He never let me feel na pagod na sya sakin.

After our lunch celebration. Red bid goodbye . May meeting pa kasi sya within an hour from now. And luckily my plan work. Akala ko ipagpapaliban nya yon.

"Mom. You must be tired you should rest. Kanina nyo pa po ako inaasikaso, sa room nalang din po ako.". My mom nodded. Hinayaan ni Red na dito muna manatili si mama sa town house nila. Hindi na tumanggi si mama.

Me : let's dine later? Meet me at seaside 😘 @7 see you.

Minutes later he replied.

Red: Sure babe 😘 iloveyou.

Yes laging may ganun sa mga text nya. And I never replied the same. Never.
