Chp. 12

"Kaname-niisan, what are you doing so late at night?" Asked a voice that was very familiar to Yuri from behind. Her eyes slowly widened.

Yuri slowly turned her head to look at the person standing behind her, their eyes meeting each other. A mix of emotion suddenly rushed into overwhelming her. She was happy that she was finally seeing her boyfriend after a long week but was upset she just confirmed that he is one of her new brothers. She was very lost and didn't know what to do or say. She just wanted to run up to him and hug him but didn't know it was right to do that in this situation in front of Kaname.

"Ara, Io-chan you're back? At this hour?" Kaname questioned when he realised that he hasn't met her sister yet. "Oh right, this is Yuri. One of your new sister"

"H..hi, my name is Yu..Yuri. I'll be in your care from now" she breathed out shakily. Kaname looked at her worriedly but at the same time confused.

"Iori, 10th son. Nice to meet you." Iori said quietly his eyes never leaving Yuri not blinking. It was suspicious. Kaname knew something was up. His a monk after all, his good at reading people's emotions and body language.

"Imouto chan, do you happen to know him?" Kaname question wrapping one of his arm around her shoulders taking her by surprise.

"Um um... our school...work together a lot and.."she said quietly not knowing what to say but got cut off by Iori pulling Yuri to him with his arm around her waist.

"Kaname-niisan, she looks uncomfortable"

"Oho~" Kaname smirked but glared slightly at Iori seeing his arm around her waist. He was going to comment on it and say if she was feeling uncomfortable, she'll still be uncomfortable having someone's arm around her waist, especially someone who she just met not while ago. But seeing that she looked less tense and more at ease with Iori made him not make any remarks. This also annoyed him a little.

"Well seeing that it's late and you just came home, let's head up to our rooms and rest." Kaname said as he started walking up the stairs secretly not taking his eyes off of Iori and Yuri.

"I'll clean up first and head up. Good night Kaname san" Yuri said.

"I'll help you Yuri-san" Iori said from beside her. Kaname stared at Iori and just nodded goodnight and headed up stairs. I mean what could he do right?

The faint ding of the elevator could be heard signalling them that Kaname head went back to his room.

"Io-" Yuri was cut off as Iori pulled her into a tight hug. "I missed you Iori" She said quietly melting into the hug.

"I missed you too princess" he said giving her a peck on her forehead. They stayed in the warm embrace for a few minutes silently. Just enjoying their company and make up for the times they lost.
