N.U

SATURDAY

Naruto frantically looked for his other sandal, his droopy eyes looked around every corner of his small, messy apartment.

"Ugh! Just where did I last put it?! I swear, I swear to God I put it here!"

He walked towards the cupboard and found his sandal there— Wait what?

"What the..! Why are you here?! Wait why am I talking to a sandal?! Nevermind! The Team must've been waiting for me!"

\\\

"HI EVERYONE!"

"Shut up Naruto."

"Hn."

"Kakashi-sensei's still not here?!"

"What do you expect?" Sakura sighed.

"Hn."

A puff of smoke emerged, that startled the trio.

"Hi everyone!" The tardy, silver-haired man greeted.

The blonde let out a yelp.

"Shut up Naruto."

"Sorry Sakura-chan."

"Hn."

"So, are you all ready for missions?" Kakashi-sensei asked with his eye-crinkle smile.

Just a normal interaction of Team 7.

Normal day.

Back to boring missions.

But..

Something really feels off for Naruto, but of course being the oblivious Naruto he is, he shrugged the feeling off, picking up the weeds with a scowl.

"I. HATE. PICKING. WEEDS!"

"I miss my home." The rosette whined.

"Hn."

"There, there, kids. You're all doing a great job! So, I'm gonna go somewhere and I'll come back later okay? See'ya!" Sensei disappeared.

The obnoxious blonde whined louder but started picking up the weeds again.

"What will Misa and Mina say? I've been absent for a week!"

Naruto narrowed his eyes,

Is that a pretty flower? The old, fat hag wouldn't mind if I pick one right? Right.

He sneakily tip toed towards the white lily flowers and picked one.

Hehehe, I'm like a ninja.

Naruto then skipped towards the sweating pinkette, and tapped her shoulder.

"Hey! Hey, Sakura-chan!"

The said girl whipped her head towards him, and gave him a questioning, and somewhat annoyed, look.

"I got this for you! A pretty, white flower!"

"Thanks Naruto. But.. I only accept if Sasuke-kun gave me the flower."

The blonde sneered and turned to look away.

He angrily stomped towards the Uchiha whose actually picking weeds, since he thinks this is the first step of becoming a great ninja and kill...

Him.

"Oi! Sasuke-Teme!"

"Hn."

Naruto leaned forward and whispered.

"Give this to Sakura-chan please!"

"Hn, why should I?"

"Please Sasuke-T.. Please Sasuke please! Please! Oi!"

"Tch!" The onyx haired boy grabbed the flower, irked.

With one hand in his pocket, and the flower on his other hand, Sasuke walked towards Sakura, whose  picking weeds now.

"Tch!"

The familiar voice made Sakura's head turn, her eyes widened.

"Thank you Sasuke-kun!" A wide, lovely smile stretched on her lips, red cheeks and dreamy eyes.

"Annoying."

Naruto smiled from afar. After all, he'll do anything to make Sakura-chan happy.

"Thank you, Naruto."

The trio is now taking a break, they're all sweating and panting.

Man, staying under the sun picking weeds is the worst job ever.

But not worst than finding the stupid cat.

"So, Sasuke-Teme. I remembered when you said that you want to take revenge."

"Hn, tch."

"Aaand I was thinking, are you gonna revenge on your brother?"

"Tch!"

"But Sasuke-kun.. Why are you gonna kill your last family?"

BANG!

Sasuke stood up and slammed his hands on the wooden table.

The enraged boy stood with his head down and hands resting on the table, quivering.

"Dobe, I understand because I know you're like me.."

Naruto gulped.

"But Sakura? How dare you speak to me like that."

"S..Sasuke-kun—"

"SHUT UP! You're useless! We always have to protect you.. And you're asking me why I'm killing the man who slaughtered my family? He's not my family anymore!"

"I'm sorr—"

"You don't understand Sakura. You don't understand ANYTHING! So think before you speak."

He turned his back, hands inside his pocket.

"You're lucky you still have parents Sakura."

The rosette showed a melancholic smile.

"Yeah.. I'm lucky I still have them."

Lies.
