I awoke in an apartment with a cute dog. I was laying on someone's couch. My ripped apart shoes were near the door. I was so confused. I looked around a male kind of short but slightly taller then me had widened his eyes.
He walked over to me and asked," Do you need anything, are you alright? How do you feel?" I smiled, he was actually worried about me.
I responded," I'm fine, thanks. I don't need anything." He looked at me worriedly. He hugged me. I haven't been hugged in years.
I almost cried.
He told me," You can use my shower and then tell me if you want or need anything, I will get it. You fell pretty hard and seemed homeless with your clothing. Oh I almost forgot to introduce myself, I'm Ethan..." I nodded and sighed.
I whispered," No need, I wasn't ever important, I am only important to myself. I am not loved by anyone besides myself and that's okay."
I started to get up, but before I could grab my shoes the guy said," Wait, please, I want you to do this. I bet someone loves you and I bet you are important to someone eh-"
I continued his sentence,"Y/N." He smiled.
He sighed and was walking towards what looked like the kitchen. Quickly I say," Uh... excuse me,Ethan, if you want me to take a shower I need clothes..." he turned to me and smiled.
He speed walked towards me and said," I don't want to leave you alone, so for now just take some of my merch from my closet, my closet is in my room which is the room that I came from when you had awoken. My bathroom is next to the kitchen. Would you like something to eat before or after?" There was so much to listen to and focus on all at once.
I wanted it now, but I also would get food after being clean and clothed correctly. I responded,"After please." He nodded and I walked towards his room.
I grabbed a hoodie and a pair of sweatpants.

I hopped into the shower. The warm water hitting my skin, it felt so nice.
Ethan's pov
I started making pancakes for breakfast while she was in the shower. I hope she likes pancakes.
I finished making the pancakes and set them down on the table, so she could take as many as she wanted. Today Mika was coming over, so I should probably tell her why there is another girl here, before she comes over.
Ethan- Good morning babe. So when you come over today, there is gonna be another girl here, besides Kathryn. I was doing my night walk last night and this girl fell over, she seemed homeless, and she wouldn't wake up so I brought her back here and she's taking a shower right now and she's gonna be staying here for the next few nights. I hope that this is okay.
Mika- No Ethan it's not ok! Another girl? She probably thought you were hot, so she faked it and now she's in your house taking a shower! This is over and if you think any different and then you are a complete idiot!
Ethan- Mika! Plz don't leave me. I get that you think that she is going to steal me away from you but she isn't. Y/N just needs a place to stay Mika... plz don't leave.
Mika- No Ethan. I have not met her nor do I want to. Goodbye Ethan.
I had no idea what just happened, but I knew it was painful to me. I wanted to cry, so bad, but I couldn't let Y/N seen me like this. I would have to wait until later tonight to just breakdown.
Y/N finally got out of the bathroom. She was wearing Mark's old merch pajama pants and my recent light blue soft boi merch hoodie. She than asked," Do you have a hair brush or an extra toothbrush?" I nodded and went to go grab them.
Y/N's pov
Why was he being so nice? I wasn't a teenager or a child, I didn't need special attention. I should have left when I had the chance.
Ethan came out of the room and I told him," Okay Ethan if you want me to stay here, you have some rules,break any of them and I will leave. No babying me. No buying my unnecessary items. No extra room to me or a bed, I am just sleeping on the couch. And lastly don't try and talk to me about person things, I will talk to you about that when I feel like it would be right, okay?" He nodded and handed me the toothbrush and hair brush.
I walked back into the bathroom and started brushing my ratty hair and brushed my teeth. I walked back into the living room and Ethan was sobbing. I thought to myself fuck I did this didn't I? I'll try and fix this one though.
"Hey Ethan, you okay?" I asked concerned. He turned to me, tears were overflowing from his eyes. I ran to his side not know what to do.
He responded," My girlfriend left me." I hugged him from the side not know what else to do and he say there and cried. A guy I just met was crying in my arms. He was actually taking care of me.
I asked him," Do you want to go get ice cream together Ethan?" He turned to me, tears still streaming down his face and nodded.
It was still early, but he needed something, he needed something to cool him off and chill out. I could talk to him about the best moments in my life. I could talk to him about my ex that beat the shit out of me. Anything to make him happier, because I know that this pain is shitty and ice cream solves everything.
