Chapter 3

[Lucy's Pov]

"I'm going to a bath!" I blurted out to Natsu. He just looked at me. "YOU BETTER NOT PEEK!!!!" I yelled at him. "Why would I peek at my "sister"?" He asked. I glared at him. I then grabbed my white croptop that had gold rim and had a blue heart on it. I then grabbed a vest that matched it. I grabbed a navy blue skirt and got dome knee high black sock. I made Natsu turn around so I could grab a braw and underwear.

I scurried into the bathroom and locked the door behind me. I put all of my stuff down carefully. I turned on the sliver faucet. At first it was ice cold, then I let it warm up. It was lukewarm when I touched it a second time. I grabbed the plug and let the tub fill up slowly. I slowly stripped off my clothes and waited for the tub to fill up. I took out my hair and let it flow down. I turned off the faucet and got in the lukewarm water. Ahhhh. It felt so good to have a nice quiet bath. I poured some shampoo onto my head started washing my hair. After, I did the shampoo I followed it with some conditioner. Sat there for about 15 minutes. I slowly got out and let out the plug. I wrapped a cotton soft towel around my body. I got dressed, combed my hair, and then I put all my dirty stuff into the dirty basket.

I walked out of the bathroom all clean and fresh. Natsu was just lying on my bed with a bored expression on his face. "Are you bored?" I asked leaning against the door frame of the bathroom. He sat up and looked at me for a second. "Yea... I want to do something. But, I don't know what to do." He said with a clear bored expression. I walked over to him and took his hand and pulled him off my bed. I ran out of my bedroom still holding his hands. I then yelled when we were close to my dad's room "Me and Natsu are going out!" I then heard a door open and shut. I rushed outside of the house and into the back yard. My back yard was like a forest.

I then realized my IPod was in my pocket. I didn't care though. I realized I was still holding Natsu's hand. I let it go quickly without him noticing. He really didn't seem to notice. "There is plenty to do out here!" I smiled. He smiled his toothy grin and nodded. "How about hide and seek?!" I asked getting hyper for no reason. I felt my heart getting pumped up and felt my blood running through my veins excitedly. "Ok! I'll count to 30!" He yelled happily. I nodded and ran off when he closed his eyes and started counting. I ran out into our backyard and hid behind a rock.

I heard him say "READY OR NOT HERE I COME!!!!" I heard the crunching of the leaves coming closer. I creeped out and saw Natsu looking around. I decided to scare him. I quietly and swiftly ran behind him. "Boo!" I said softly in his ears. He suddenly let out a girly scream. I started laughing my ass off. "Not funny!" He yelled his face getting bright red. I just rolled my eyes and started chasing him.

We laughed and played games until it got dark outside. This day was one of the funniest days I've ever had. I never got to play with other kids when I was little because I lived to far away from the other children. So, I was always lonely. I realized that if someone is lonely they become cold, but if someone warms their heart they become kind.
