Chapter 12 (Christmas Eve chapter)

[Lucy's Pov]

I woke up that morning feeling weird. I was wondering why Natsu would kiss me then a few days later he told me that he feels much better that I don't love him. *Sighs* I got up and passed my window. I then backed up and took a closer look outside. It was.....SNOWING!!!!!! Yay!!! I love snow so much!!! I'm gonna get ready to go outside! I know what your thinking, I sound like a little kid right now! But, me and momma used to play in the snow all the time! So, its like a tradition for me! Well, I'm not gonna play in the snow but, I guess I'm gonna take a walk. So, I got on leggings, a skirt, and long sleeve shirt, and a heavy coat. I then brushed my teeth and brushed my hair. Then I put on ear muffs and my boots then I left without no one noticing.

It sure is pretty out here. I walked through town looking at the snow roof tops, the lighted up window stores, and the many decorations that dotted the stores and houses. Only, if Momma was here, then we would be doing this together. While I was sucked into my thoughts I didn't watch were I was going and ran into someone. "I-I-I'm so sorry!" I apologized to the person. "W-Watch were y-" the person stopped in the middle of his sentence. "Lucy?" Asked the person. I just sat on the ground looking at the person with a dumbfounded look. I then realized i was sitting on the ice cold SNOW!

I jumped up quickly. "Don't you r-r-remember me?" Asked the person. I shook my head. He then blushed slightly. "Of course you don't..." he said. He had a beanie on and had his hood on to cover his face. "Remember who used to call you Blondie?" He asked smirking. I gasped. "S-S-Sting??" I stuttered. He took off his hood and beanie revealing his spiky blonde hair. I smiled. He smiled back at me. I then blushed.....?!?! But, he was kinda cute when he smiled. Wait... What?!?! Why would I say that?!?!?! Sting is my friend not my stupid childish crush!!! "L-Lucy are you ok?" Asked Sting with a hint of worry in it. "Ummm... Yea, I'm fine!" I laughed nervously rubbing the back of my head.

[Sting's Pov]

I wonder what she was thinking about 'cause she was making this weird face. Whatever. It's kinda weird though... that I ran into her. I like that I did. *Sighs* "Wanna hang out?" I asked breaking the awkward silence. "That would nice." Lucy smiled big. We started to walk down the road talking and laughing. "So, I heard your dad married someone..." I blurted. Lucy sighed and nodded. "Whats a matter? It's ok if you don't wanna talk about it." I said trying to make things better. "No, it's ok. Well, she is nice but, thing I hate is her son." Lucy said softly. "Why do you hate him?" I asked curiously. "Oh, ummm... Well, I guess he liked me and I started like him back. T-T-Then we k-k-kissed. And I told him I l-l-love him. But, then he asked me if I wanna go out then I told him that I was lying when I loved him. He then said I feel much much better. So, yea.. I'm sorry to get you into this!!!!" Worried Lucy. "Hey, Lucy calm down. It's fine. I don't mind. You just needed to get that out." I smiled holding onto her shoulders. She smiled and nodded. We then started walking again.

"Hey! I have an idea! You know how Christmas is tomorrow right?" She asked me. I nodded. "Why don't we hang out tomorrow?!?!" Lucy leaped excitedly. I started to feel my face heat up. "Y-Y-You want to hang out with m-m-me?" I asked stuttering. She smiled. "Of course I do! Your my friend!" Lucy blushed slightly.
