Kiana Pov

Today was the funeral. I never thought I would be here, for the funeral of my partner. Aaliyah's going to grow up without a father, I'm not tryna be a single mom. I get me and Aaliyah dressed and we get into the family car. We pull up to church and we go in. A bunch of fans and friends were there. The closer I get to the casket, the more shaky I become. I walk up to the casket and they have him dressed nicely. He's wearing a cream suit with a purple tie. I leaned down and kissed his fourhead with tears streaming down my face.

Kiana- *whispers* I love you.

I go sit down and I look at the obituary. It has a bunch of pictures with me and him. I tried to smile warmly through the whole service. When I saw them lowering his casket into the ground, I couldn't take it. I ran up to his grave, but felt arms around my waist pulling me away. They let go 20 doves for every year he lived. I pushed through the crowd and ran to the car. The door opened and there stood Josh and Shekera. They pulled me up and hugged me as I rested my head on their shoulders. I thought about all we been through together. I asked them to take me home and they agreed. I went in the house and went into the kitchen. A note was on the counter, so I went to pick it up. It read:

'All my hard work done paid off,
Shawty stayed down since day 1,
Had to keep you by my side like my Tommy gun,
Put on my jewelry, babe, and shine like the sun.

            -Takeoff '

(I changed the lyrics a little. You understand why, I hope)

His chains, rings, watches and gun were by the note. I put his jewelry on and picked up his gun. I took it upstairs and put it in my drawer. I put on one of his shirts and put his jewelry on his pillow. I tried to go to sleep, but I couldn't . I kept thinking about him. That night, I cried myself to sleep.

The lyrics from the note is from Migos song 'All Good' if you didn't know.. ~KaceyBoo
