Prologue

Nathan walked toward the front of the school and took out his phone.

Nathan: "Where are you guys?"

Ethan: "I'm walking up now, do you see me?"

Nathan looked up and saw Ethan he waved and Ethan walked over.

Nathan: "Do you know where Carol and Kiera are?"

Nathan and Ethan's phones went off and they looked at them.

Caroline: "I'm running late."

Nathan: "What's new?"

Caroline: "Shut up Nate."

Kiera: "I'm almost there, be there in 2 minutes."

Nathan: "It's always the girls running late."

Ethan: "At least they tell us instead of keeping quiet."

Nathan: "Guess you're right."

Kiera: "I'm...here."

Kiera was panting and Ethan started laughing and Nathan just looked at him.

Ethan: "What did you do?"

Kiera: "I...ran...the whole...way."

Ethan: "Catch your breath, don't kill yourself just because you ran late."

Nathan let Kiera and Ethan talk while he stood there waiting, he saw an unfamiliar face walk up to the school and Nathan walked over to him.

Nathan: "Hey, who are you?"

You: "Oh, I'm Y/N."

You extended your hand but Nathan just looked at it and you slowly lowered it.

Nathan: "I'm Nathan, come over here."

You followed Nathan and he introduced you to his group.

Ethan: "Nice to meet you Y/N, I'm Ethan, that's Kiera."

Kiera waved and you simply smiled.

You: "So...anyone know where math is?"

Ethan: "Oh, you're with me and Kiera, just follow us when we go to our first class."

You nodded and Nathan looked at his phone.

Nathan: "We should go, I'll see you all at lunch."

Everyone nodded and went their separate ways. When Nathan was walking to biology he felt someone lightly shove him, he looked over and saw Caroline walking next to him.

Nathan: "Hey Carol."

Caroline: "Sorry I ran late, it takes time to look like this."

She was wearing some ocean blue eyeliner.

Nathan: "Whatever Carol, you do whatever makes you happy."

She shoved him again and he chuckled, they walked toward their first class.

4-period time skip.

Nathan and Caroline walked toward the front of the school to meet the others. They were already there and eating.

Ethan: "Took you long enough."

Nathan: "How's the new kid?"

You: "I'm doing good, everyone's pretty nice."

Ethan: "Yeah, I told you."

Kiera stayed silent throughout the whole exchange.

Nathan: "Oh and um, Y/N this is Caroline."
