Chapter 2

You woke up and looked around the barracks, a few of the men were still asleep. You stood up and stretched, you looked over and noticed Nathan was gone, which was strange since he never woke up early unless someone woke him up. You walked out of the barracks and saw some men jogging toward the practice building, you started walking toward the command building and when you were about to enter you felt someone pull you away.

You: "What the he-

Nathan: "Hey be quiet...

You: "*sigh* You could have just gotten my attention the normal way."

Nathan: "I know but...

He looked around and continued talking.

Nathan: "It's about Kiera."

You: "Kiera? You got info on her?"

Nathan: "Yeah, she's not working for the military."

You: "What? Then who is she working for?"

Nathan: "Do you know the big pharmaceutical company named Umbrella?"

You: "Of course, who doesn't?"

Nathan: "She's working for them."

You: "Yeah...so? She's working for a pharmaceutical company, what's the point?"

Nathan: "I can't tell you now, but the boss wants us to meet those Rainbow guys, now lets gear up."

You nodded and followed Nathan to the armory, you were still trying to figure out what Nathan was telling you. You grabbed and an M16 and put on all of your gear, you met Nathan outside.

Nathan: "Heli is waiting for us, come on."

You jogged toward the heli and hopped in beside Nathan.

Pilot: "Strap in, we got a decently long flight ahead of us."

You sat across from Nathan and leaned your gun against the seat.

You: "Alright Nathan, so what about Kiera and Umbrella?"

Nathan: "Ok, the boss woke me up and asked if I could talk, I said yes and he told me that Kiera was sighted in Phoenix last month."

You: "Kiera was in Phoenix? I thought she was in France."

Nathan: "I did too, but apparently she's been working with Umbrella, and I know what you're wondering, what does Umbrella have to do with anything."

You: "You read my mind."

Nathan: "So after my talk with the boss I went info digging on Umbrella, and what I found made a lot of sense since Kiera was working with them.$

You: "I thought Umbrella worked on medical products."

Nathan: "I did too, but apparently they have been researching advanced weapons, mainly bioweapons."

You leaned back in your seat and chuckled to yourself.

You: "Now it makes sense, what about Ethan and Caroline?"

Nathan: "Ethan is in Japan, while Carol...I don't know, I found nothing on her, like she doesn't exist."

You: "Damn...

Nathan: "Yeah, I hope she's still alive."

You: "I know you and Caroline were childhood friends, but you can't be thinking of her all the time, but never forget her."

Nathan: "Yeah...you're right."

2 hours later.

Pilot: "We're approaching the LZ, it seems a few of these guys are here to welcome you."
