Chapter 9 The magical adventure of Ed and Skye

I sat in the large library room practicing alchemy. Ed and Al were spending there time trying to decode Marcoh's notes. Apparently he wrote a cook book. I was still confused on how the hell they were going to decode a cook book. I sat with my legs crossed and then noticed I was still wearing my hoodie and jeans from the day we left our home. I hadn't changed any of my clothes. My jeans were covered in blood were my wound had been and there was blood on my gray hoodie too. I had managed to brush my hair though. It was in a ponytail that day. It hurt like hell though when I brusjed it because my hair goes crazy after I sleep. I don't like it getting in my face all the time and when doing alchemy.I really didn't want that to happen.

I transmuted the wood into a bird then back again. Then into a flower then back again. Eventually I couldn't think of anything else to do so I walked out of the room quietly. Ed had told me if I made too much noise when moving around he would give me a bruise I would never forget.

I opened the door and walked over. The two soldiers stood outside the doors guarding it.

" Hello Ms. Skye. May I ask what you are doing?" Asked Maria.

" I got bored. Do you think one of you could take me shopping?" I asked. Then I remembered I have no money.

" No sorry. We must stay and guard the doors." Said Maria.

" Okay." I said. Good thing she hadn't said yes. That would have been awkward.

I walked back inside and went back to where I had been transmuting the floor. I looked outside. It had been a whole day since Ed had eaten. I walked over to him " Hey Ed. We should go get something to eat." I said quietly.

" No time." He said.

" Nii-san you have to eat to keep up your strength." Al said.

" Fine." Ed groaned and got up." Let's go Skye."

" Whoo!" I said and ran to the doors and opened them. " We are going to go and eat!" I exclaimed.

"I'll come with you guys." Said Maria. " You have to always have a soldier with you." She said.

I ran down the halls all the way to the front doors.

Ed came after me " Why the hell did you run!?!"

" Cause I'm excited!" I squealed.

Maria came running over. " Please don't run." She said.

We walked down the streets of central to a restruant Ed knew of.

" Hey Ed while we're out can we go shopping too? I only have one pair of clothes and their covered in blood." I said.

" I guess we'll need to. You can't live in one pair of clothes forever." He said.

We finally reached the restraunt and we walked in. We were kidly lead to our table.

A young man came to take our order.

" I would like ramen and ice cream." I said.

" I would like ramen a hamburger and ice cream and steak." Ed said.

" I'll just have a bowl of ramen." Said Maria.

The young man left.

" Don't think I'll be paying for your food." Ed said to Maria.

" Don't worry I brought my own money." She said.

I looked at Ed " How are you going to eat all that?" I asked. That was insane how much food he was going to eat.

" I've eaten more than that." He said cooly.

" Ohmergawd how are you not fat?" I said.

" Habe you seen what I do everyday. I havr to fight insane people all the time!" He quietly yelled.

" Oh yaaaaaa." I said. I totally forgot how insane his life was.

The man soon came back with our food and some cups of water since we had forgotten to ask for something to drink.

I grabbed the chopsticks and began eating my ramen.After a few bites I looked up at Ed who already completley devoured his hamburger and was starting on his ramen.

I scarfed down my ramen as fast as possible. It tasted so good and it had been forever since I had had ramen. I grabbed my spoon and began eating my ice cream. By that time Ed was already half way done with his steak.

We finished eating and Ed and Maria payed for the food.

" Kay time to go shopping." I said. Normally I didn't like to go shopping but now I had complete freedom over what I wanted.

We reached a small clothes shop and walked in. I looked around and chose a few pairs of jeans several pairs of socks a few large baggy shirts and some long sleeve shirts.

" I tried to get as little as possible."I said when I finished.

Ed payed for the clothes and we left.

We walked down the side walk.

" Man I spent more cens then I spend in an entire month today."

" well you did eat alot. Maybe your growing." I joked.

" Of course I'm growing! I'm not fully grown yet!" He yelled.

Me and Maria laughed. We spent the rest of the walk back to the library joking around and having fun forgeting everything around us.

We got back to the library and Ed ran in. I ran after him and Maria ran after the both of us. We reached the doors out of breath. Ed opened one of the doors and we walked in.

" Hey Al we're back!" Ed said cheerfully.

" Finally. It's been two hours." He said sounding like he had been worried.

" Oh ya. Skye kind of needed clothes so she didn't look like she just came out of a car accident." Ed said.

I went back to where I had been making all the diffrent things and layed the baggy shirts on the ground and transmuted them into hoodies. They were all grey hoodies. I don't know why but I just like them gray.

Ed settled back into his seat and grabbed what he had been working on and everything was quiet again.

Er my gawd. That has got to be the longest chapter I have ever written for anything!I got so excited about the food part and I don't know why. Hope you enjoyed it.
