I stood up. My leg felt like jelly. Ed stood up too. We were at the station and it was time to get off. I grabbed my bag and followed Ed off the train. We immedintaly went to the command building. I walked beside Ed. These buildings were so large. I followed Ed trying to memorize as much as possible. I would have to know this stuff though I'll probably forget. Ed's report was accepted really quickly. Whooo no waiting for days! I was actually surprised it was accepted he had written it in like three minutes on the train after we had been joking around for a while.

"Let's go get some lunch." Ed suggested.

I nodded and we headed off to go eat.

We sound found ourselves in a random restraunt. Ed ordered a ridiculous amount of food as usual. I ordered a burger. I took a bite and looked up at Ed who was furiously shoveling food into his face hole. I finished chewing and said " Whoa you even chewing bro?"

He looked up at me. " Your not my sister."

" I know. I'm not saying that I'm your sister I'm nevermind." I said

Ed went back to shoving food into his mouth.

We finished pretty soon. We walked outside and started walking around.

" You wanna go back?" Ed asked.

" Nah. We only just got here." I said.

Ed looked around until he stopped. I stood next to him trying to see what he saw. I eventually spotted what he saw. A small store. We walked in and saw a bunch of little toys.

"Why are we in here?" I asked.

" I don't know. Let's just have fun." Ed replied and ran off.

" You are such a little kid." I yelled and ran after him a large smile growing on my face.

We ran around messing around until we got kicked out.

" Where are your parents?" The owner asked.

" Dead!" We replied in sync.

I looked at Ed. His father isn't dead.

We walked down the streets. " Hey Ed. Why did you say that your father is dead?" I asked. He should not be calling his father dead. He should be spending time with him.

" Because he is as good as dead to me." He replied.

" Why?" I asked.

" He left us. He is the reason our mother is dead." Ed said. He seemed so angry and sad.

" oh." I said quietly. We walked along for a little while longer quietly.

"Let's go get some coffee." Ed suggested.

" Okay." I said and we raced to the nearest place that sold coffee.

We walked outside the sun setting coffee cups in hand. I took a sip from mine.

" we should go find a hotel soon." I said.

Ed nodded. We walked down the streets looking around as it slowly became darker until it was too dark to keep going much longer so we went to the nearest hotel and rented a room.

I opened the door and looked around.

"This room is so much bigger than what I stayed in back where I lived. You can actually walk around." I said. The only hotel I had stayed in back at home had to beds really close to each other and you hardly had any space to walk around.

I jumped onto my bed and looked up at the ceiling.

" Skye just because you're a state alchemist don't forget what your goal is." Ed said. He was laying on his bed.

" I won't. And you don't either." I say.

" To get Al and my bodys back to normal." Ed said.

" To get me and Tim back home." I say.

We lay there for a minute then Ed got up and layed next to me.

" We've gotta go back tomorrow. Anywhere else you want to go?" He asked.

" Nope." I reply. We lay for a while then Ed went back to his bed. He fell asleep. I took off my shoes and looked at Ed who had forgotten to do even that. I turned off the lights and went to sleep.

" Hey Skye wake up." Ed said shaking me slightly. I opened my eyes and looked at him. His hair was a mess. I noticed how long it is. It wasn't it in a braid.

" I'm suprised people don't think you're a girl." I say and smile.

" Ha ha very funny. Come on we got to go to the train." Ed said.

I brushed my hair really quick. I don't care much about my appearance but I don't want to be known as the state alchemist who goes outside looking like a homeless person. I put on my shoes and put my backpack on my back. I looked at Ed who had put his hair back in a braid. We walked out of the room and walked to the desk were we checked out. We raced down the streets until we reached the train station. Ed bought tickets while I tried to catch my breath.

We were on a train again. Ed was looking through the window. He really is like a brother to me. I only thought we would. That is always how it is in the books. I never knew what it was like thinking someone you had met by luck as a sibling. This is what it is like.

" Hey Ed." I said.

" Ya."

" Do you think of me like a sister?" I asked.

" Of course. Do you think of me as a brother?" He replied.

" Ya!" I said with a smile. He looked at me. He had a smile on his face. These were probably the greatest times of my life. Ed Al and me going around Amestris trying to reach our goals. I started wondering wether I really want to go home. It doesn't matter though. Tim wants to go home and he will get lonley without me. That is all that matters.
