Chapter 1: I dislike your name therefore I call you Parker!

Authors Notes: this is my first ever book I have written so tell me what you think negative or positive don't mind.

*Lucy's POV*

It was lunch and I made my way to the canteen to get my lunch. I look around, it's really busy in here it always is at our school. Like all high schools there are all sorts of people. There are nerds, geeks, sluts, cheerleaders and then there's the populars.

This group consisted of five guys named Josh, Daniel, Will, Christian and my favourite person Alex Parker. NOT! I dislike them all, but mostly Alex, the way he talks to people, insults them, and they don't respond back, usually if Alex says something to me, I spit something back.

I make my way past their table, and I spot Ally, my best friend, I waved at her and she walks to my direction.

"Hey are you going to buy food from the canteen?" she asks me smiling.

"Nah, mum made me lunch, you want?" I offered.

"Yes, but re you sure, it would be enough for you?" She asked me.

"Of course, she made me like 3 sandwiches." I giggle.

We find a table, and sit down, and we start digging to the sandwiches.

"I heard that Alex Parker called Miley and ugly geek!" She frowned.

"Typical. She is a geek, but she's not ugly, if she arranges herself." I explained.

The bell rang, and groaning I dumped the rest of my sandwich in the bin and got up.

"What subject do you have next Lucy?" She asked me, while taking out her timetable and checking what she had.

"English, you?" I ask her.

"Math." She replies gloomy.

"Sucks to be you, haha, have fun!" I said cheerfully, and made my way to english class.

I arrived at the perfect time to hear Ms Rodriguez saying that she is changing our places again. We all stand aside, and one by one she calls our name.

"Taylor and..." Ms Rodriguez says. Taylor's is a normal girl, my type; she's actually kind and sweet. "Luke" She says. I wish I was sitting next to Luke. I sit next to him in bio and he's such a great guy. He's talkative and really fun to be with, and he usually helps me if I'm lost with the schoolwork.

"Lucy with..." I broke out of thought and stood up a little straighter when I heard my name. "With Alex!"

I groan.

"Can I switch with Taylor?" I plead to Ms Rodriguez.

"No!"

"But-"

She cuts me off. "NO! Now sit!"

Cursing under my breath I make my way to the back row, and sit down next to Mr Parker.

"Are you nervous because you're sitting next to me?" He smirks to himself.

"In your dreams. I'm actually sad that I have to sit next to you!" I roll my eyes.

"Watch it Lucy!" He replies sharply.

"Whatever!" I roll my eyes again.

I ignore him as I listen to Ms Rodriguez give out names and places.

"Who do you think you are, to talk to me like that?" He emphasis on the word me.

I turn around and face him and raise my brows.
