a sleepover

"Hey Lyca." Nagisa greeted, walking up to me with Kayano.

"Um...hello?" I asked questioning. The thing is I don't know anyone that well in the class and I'm more distant with everyone.

"Well... we were wondering if you would like to come over to my house for a sleepover with the rest of the class." Kayano said. I looked at them questioning. I had to be careful because of my secret, but maybe making a few new friends wouldn't be a bad idea and help me get over my trust problems.

"That sounds great!'' I said. We all exchanged phone numbers. Then I froze for a second. "so um...what exactly do you do at a sleepover?" I asked.

"You've never been at a sleepover before!?" Kayano asked, shocked.

I shook my head. "I never really had a friend before er...at least someone my age and the people I was close to I pretty much lived with."

Kayano explained what you do at a sleepover.

time skip: the sleepover after school

We just entered her house and she went to get everything set up. When she was finished, everyone decided to ask me certain questions. "So Lyca why are you so distant in class." Rio asked.

I froze, then sighed. I knew they were going to ask me that. "there's a few reasons actually. I can't exactly tell you all of them because most of them are extremely classified. but one is that I have really bad trust issues as well as the fact that I am also a professional assassin." I said.

"EH!?" everyone yelled.

"Honestly, I didn't come to this school for the assassination, I came here to keep a promise and make new friends." I said.

"Promise?" Nagisa asked.

"I promised my last assassin instructor that I would get over my trust problems and make new friends. there was more to it but that's the gist. I stayed distant because I was still trying to get comfortable with the class. I was going to try talking to you after school but you guys beat me to it." I explained.

For the rest of the day they continued asking me questions and we played different types of games such as truth and dare, card games, and board games. I won a majority of them. We had pizza for dinner. We had a bunch of deserts. I had cookies and cream ice cream and Nagisa had blueberry ice cream.

Everyone went to sleep by eleven. I was still up because I was thinking and I'm usually awake at night. I was arguing with myself if I should just tell Nagisa now or wait for school to tell him. I sighed. I have to tell him eventually so I might as well do it now. I walked up to Nagisa and shook him a little to wake up. He groaned. "Lyca?" He asked. I nodded.

"Come with me, I need to tell you something." I whispered making sure not to wake anyone else up. He got up and followed me outside so no one would hear us. "I'm sorry for waking you up and I was not exactly sure if I should tell you now or wait till we're back in school but it's safer to tell you now." I replied. I sighed. "as I said before I'm an assassin. However, I'm not an ordinary assassin. Almost no one knows about my type of assassin because it's classified."

"What type of assassin are you?" he asked.

"Well...I'm a hybrid assassin. We work as a team. we are good teachers or... a majority of us are. we are not human and we have powers. We have strong connections with animals. We also protect the earth and its inhabitants. so this current mission is the perfect job for us. We also sometimes do things like being a bodyguard when someone is in danger. and we only target criminals. We also have very strong blood lust. we are also what's known as guardians." I replied

"Why are you telling me this?" He asked wide eyed and confused.

I sighed. "Well...you see... you have the attributes you need to be a hybrid assassin."

"What!?" He yelled.

"I've been able to sense it for some time it was just yesterday that you proved it to me during your assassination attempt. You have very powerful blood lust plus I can sense strong powers from you. Today, during the sleepover, I realized I need to tell you this soon. Now, as I said I'm a hybrid assassin meaning I'm supposed to have a team and as you probably already figured out I don't. I'm telling you this because I want to know if you want to train with me after school." I explained.

"Of course," he replied with wide eyes still trying to process everything.

"Great! We will start Monday after school. I do ask that you don't tell anyone though." He nodded.

After school on Monday.

We started walking to my training grounds. "Alright this is where we will be training at." I said. I started taking my blue hood off. I have ice blue hair and eyes. My eyes started glowing and my teeth grew sharper and looked like wolf teeth. I had wolf ears. I had a wolf tail. My nails grew sharp like wolf claws. When my eyes stopped glowing they slit. I also had scales.

He looked at me in shock. I chuckled. "What? It will be easier to teach you in my hybrid form." I said. all he could do is nod. "I'm the strongest and rarest kind of hybrid. I'm a  water wolf dragon.  I have ice and water magic." "Alright let's get started shall we." I said as I clapped my hands. I taught him a few hand to hand combat moves for a start.

Time skip: after training

"These techniques most assassins don't usually use hand to hand combat but it's good to know in case you're in certain situations." I said. "oh. Another thing there is another person who has been training under me for about 5 years now. He will be joining us in a few days. Actually I think you might know him."

"Really!?"

I nodded.

"Yeah. I only taught him fighting techniques. So he still doesn't know how to use his powers. You should head home now." I said.

"yeah. bye." he said, leaving.
