Second chances were believed to protect everyone. Yet, why are we so confused about it? I was told I was to forget everything I knew and that I was named 'Rose', Wasn't that a name that I was up for? No, it wasn't. I knew nothing about it, really nothing. I was believed to have a dangerous life, something that I should forget, but why does my curiosity always linger off? They say I was Slated, like the other four victims that were here. I couldn't remember their names, why should I? I'd probably wonder into them sometime this month, maybe even at the new school I was going to be going to? Well, let's get to the point.
You're not safe. Why should you be? Somewhere someone is watching, or is that what I always thought? I was given a second chance, only if I play by the rules. But why should I if I don't know what I did wrong? Well, they said I was apart of some dangerous group, something I was able to forget, locked up. My levo gives me shocks something that I couldn't seem to remember.
Allow your mind to think, "Rose".
I gazed around as if I heard the voice speaking directly towards me. 'Allow my mind to think'? Is that suppose to be a pun of some sort? I was thinking, of course I was. If I wasn't I wouldn't be able to do this all right now, I wouldn't be able to talk to myself. God, is everything so confusing?

Those were just emotionless memories. I had a new life, a new personality, new everything. Only if I do what I'm told.

I hopped off from the hospital bed staring at the food that was left on a plate for me. Scrambled eggs that didn't smell quite good. I picked up my fork poking the pancakes. It was mushy, very mushy. I felt myself feeling like I would throw up. Instead I grabbed the glass of orange juice, drinking it. I walked around trying to distract myself.
Around twelve o'clock today I was being picked up. Not really exciting in anyway, it was a family that I was expectedly suppose to fit into. Well a family that was going to accept me as their own in which really I don't care about. Okay maybe a bit. God, why am I even saying? I couldn't care because well, I don't need a family to take care of me. But yet. I'm accepting it.

The door opened. I looked over seeing Doctor Nora. She walked over to where I was standing checking my levo. She held my wrist staring at the levo. She mumbled a few things motioning me to sit down. I obeying not really in the mood to disagree. I sat down holding my hands on my lap trying to seem like everything was alright. When really I just wanted to sleep again. But I guess I'll be doing that tonight.. At a proper bed time.
"How are you doing?" Doctor Nora asked.
"Fine." I replied.
"You sure?" she assured.
"Uhuh." I grabbed my bag standing up. "Is my 'new' family here?" I questioned.

She nodded quickly grabbing my hand as she pulled me out. Didn't take her long to pull me into the lobby. I stared down at my baggy army green shirt that was given to me, my ripped jeans seemed like a stupid fashion and the plaid shirt, with my hair braided.
"Mrs. Pritz, this is Rose," Doctor Nora smiled, "she's excited to be you're new daughter."
I smiled lightly not feeling anything. I studied the woman. Her hair pinned up neatly, a nice dirty blondish color. She had two children, one who seemed around my age who had a black color and pale skin that must've been tried to replaced with some type of different color. He looked up dark bags under his eyes. He was also slated, I stared, gulping as I felt my eyes widen. The little girl must've been ten or something, she had short dirty-blonde hair that was braided like mine. Her eyes were a light blue which sparkled.
"Something wrong, Rose?" Doctor Nora asked looking at me worried.
"Huh-- yes, I'm fine." I smiled. "Just thinking."
She nodded.
"Rose, this is Kellin, he's like you.." she started to trail off, which I didn't bother to listen to.
I nodded just going along with it. "Thank you, for taking me in." I smiled.
"No problem, deary." Mrs. Pritz smiled.

The car ride wasn't long, it didn't take long before we ended up in a driveway. A large brown house was in front of me, I opened my door walking out. Feeling weak I sucked it up swallowing back my nervousness.
"Rose dear, can you handle your bags?" Mrs. Pritz asked.
I nodded not wanting to make her do all the work. She nodded back in reply opening the front door for us. I walked inside following the youngest girl upstairs. She smiled opening a door. I walked inside with her finding a quite decent sized room. A light blue wallpaper was on the walls followed by a wooden bed that had white and yellow blankets on it. There was a carpet that was blue and a desk which would be good for my studying when I start school.
"I'm Luna," the young girl Luna smiled. "I already know your name, sister."
I was shocked as she said 'sister' as if it was no problem. I smiled back, gulping.
"Nice to be staying with you Luna." I replied back politely.

We headed down the stairs. I could smell fresh chicken, which is something I don't always smell. Well something that I can't remember tasting. I rushed down the stairs faster than anything. I would have fell but luckily I haven't.
"Hungry Rose?"
