Effervescent [ poetry ]

DAY FOUR: EARTHLY PLEASURES !

feel the sand beneath your feet,

do you feel that?

look around, see all the people, families,

do you hear that?

look in front of you,

look at the sea,

how do you feel?

look at the waters and see the pollution,

how does this make you feel?

looking at this garbage thrown into the sea

like a normal day at the park,

feel the pain that it is causing to the animals,

look at the ground and feel the earth slipping away.

how do you feel knowing the future generations might not experience this?

the earthly pleasures will fade 

the seas will slowly degrade,

the trees will slowly fall

all because of us 

preserve this earthly pleasure.
