Word count> 7500 (The two chapts together are like 16000 jesus.)
Triggers> A little swearing, mention of adhd and meds. This isn't really angsty or anything

(Some story plot might be cliché and not be accurate to the actual selection. I've tried to keep it as close to the original as possible but because of plot purposes it doesn't work as well)

This wasn't planned to be in three parts so I'm sorry. I hate having to split it again but me being me made this way too long so I had to get this posted. Part three will hopefully be shorter (we all saw how that turned out last time) and out within a week or so.

3rd person POV

"So, to answer that. No. I wouldn't accept. I don't think I could."

Dream didn't know how to respond to that, he felt a little like he had just lost the selection even though he wasn't one of the players.

"Oh jeez is it that later already?" George saw his watch say 9pm.

"I'll see you tomorrow Dream, night!" George closed up his laptop and waved goodbye as he walked out the door leaving Dream sitting on the sofa, completely still as he thought of what he could do.

"Vincent I'm telling you its hopeless." Dream said sadly while facetiming Vincent. Dream was sat on his bed in pj's and asking Vincent for advice.

"Dream, Dream, you're being irrational." Vincent assured him. He held a sandwich and sat at his desk. Time zones were great, he was in the middle of lunch.

"Vincent, isn't it like 8am for you?" He had learned France's time  zone after being friends with Vincent for so long.

"Time is just a social construct." Vincent said and continued to eat his sandwich. Sometimes Dream worried if his habits were healthy.

"Don't you wake up at like. 5am." Dream sighed at his friend's habits, "I'm pretty sure that's not healthy."

"Hey hey hey." Vincent defended with a mouth full of sandwich, "I get the 8 hours of sleep I need. Doesn't matter what time they happen." He said.

"Anyways so about George." Vincent put down his food, "So he thinks the prince is stuck up, snobby, spoiled, and he wouldn't accept the prince."

Dream nodded.

"Well, what if you get to know him before introductions." Vincent suggested, "Hang out with him and try to become friends. From what you've told me you're dead set on this George guy."

"He's the perfect one." Dream said, even if he had to Dream wouldn't be able to be happy in a relationship after finding such a perfect person.

"Well, how about this. Continue on with the selection as usual but when you meet George of course he's gonna know you're "Dream". Vincent continued explaining his plan, "So. Since he hates the idea of being forced into a relationship, you should offer him one instead."

Dream didn't know what he meant, "Vincent could you explain."

"Ok so. You ask him to go on a few dates with you, give you a chance, see what you're really like. Then in the end if he still doesn't accept you then you choose someone else." Vincent said.
