Annabeth POV

It had been a few days since Percy and mines break down in the posiden cabin. Neither of us talked about it, but we both remembered it and acknowledged that it had happened through our actions.

Our communication had improved slightly, but it still needed work. I noticed that. Percy, being the seaweed brain he is, might not have. I still had hope that he had though.

At breakfast, sitting at the posiden table (Chiron let Percy and I sit together), Percy and I didn't talk much. Just about a few things like the weather and what activities we had today. Every now and then Percy would crack a joke causing me to give a small smile. I didn't smile much anymore.

After breakfast, we had to do different camp activities. Some of our activities we had together, like archery and sword fighting. Percy was plenty good at that though he still practiced. He usually spent his activity slot teaching the sword fighting lessons rather than receiving them. Sometimes I would practise on a dummy while he instructed everyone. Most of the time I helped him with the lessons though. He demonstrated different moves on me and other times we full-on fought it out.

Today was one of the days where we fought it out.

It was refreshing to pour all of the anger that I had into my movements. All of my emotions from Tartarus, from the war, my anger at the fates and the gods, everything was poured into my movements. I had a feeling it was the same for Percy. He always seemed to feel better after a good sword fight.

Today was no different.

When we finished fighting, he won obviously, he pulled me out of the sword area and kissed me. "I'm sorry," was all he said before kissing me again.

"I'm sorry too," I said. "I'm sorry for being so distant when all we really need is each other and I know that as long as I have you, I don't need anything else in the world."

I felt Percy smiling into the kiss. "I Love you," he muttered against my lips.

"I love you too," I said pulling away, only to kiss him again right after.

A/N: Okay, so, sorry the chapters are short. I'm kind of running out of ideas for this time in their lives so I think that I'm just going to skip ahead a bit for the next couple chapters. Not sure though. If you're reading this, please comment on what you think I should do!! Thanks to anyone!
