Uncle Bobby got back sometime in the night. After a lot of arguing and contemplation, it was decided that it would be best for me to rejoin Sam and Dean on the road. It was too risky for me to stay there and be discovered by someone who remembered me, Dean also didn't like the idea of me not being able to go anywhere other than in the yard near the house so no one would see me. So Sam and Dean headed off to look for another case a week after. Dean kept asking me every morning if I remembered anything else, from when I had died. I didn't know why he was so persistent, but I didn't want to think about it. All that Sam and Dean told me about the year I was gone was that they'd finally managed to track down and kill the yellow eyed demon. I was happy about that, Dad would have been happy about that. I'm sure the boys were happy about it too.

I woke up one morning to Metallica playing quietly on the radio as Dean drove. Sam was looking over a newspaper. "Where are we going?" I asked as I sat up, I had a blanket, Sylvester, and Bucky with me, my books were mostly in the trunk other than two, which I had in the backseat with me. I had to leave a lot behind at Uncle Bobby's, we also went to a thrift store to get clothes after a few hours drive away from Uncle Bobby's. "Nebraska," Dean answered, turning his head to look back at me. "For a case or-?" I trailed off. Sam answered, "For a case," he said, not looking up from the paper. I looked out the window and watched the landscape go by. "Are you hungry?" Dean asked, turning his head over his shoulder once more. "Do we have any food?" I asked him. If we didn't, I wasn't going to make him pull over. Sam folded up the newspaper and held up a bag of McDonalds'. "We got this about half an hour ago," Sam told me as he passed the bag into the backseat. I took the bag and peaked inside, there were two breakfast burritos with some salsa packets. My favorite. I started unwrapping my food as I turned to face the window so I could watch the landscape fly by as I ate.

We got to the house in Nebraska where the case was. It was a pretty farmhouse. "Hey Chris, Sam and I are gonna go inside, okay? Stay in here and-" Dean started, I cut him off, "And stay low and out of sight in case someone shows up, I know D," I told him. He stared at me for a few moments before he rolled his eyes. "We'll be back in about half an hour," Sam added as he opened his door. I nodded and grabbed one of my books to read as I turned over to lay on my stomach. I read a few pages before I heard barking. I sat up a bit to peak out at what was going on, there was a border collie looking dog running around two kids, the girl looked like a teenager and the boy looked about my age. Well, my new age anyway... There was a white SUV with a big white moving truck parked behind it. The mom and the dad were both talking to the teenager, who was trying to do something on her phone. Another man came from the moving truck and started helping unload the SUV. That was when Sam and Dean started down the steps of the house. The two groups seemed to notice each other pretty quickly. I watched Sam and Dean approach the family, and flash a badge. They didn't talk for very long before the family started putting everything back into the SUV. Sam and Dean watched them go before they headed back to the car. "So we have a day to figure out what the hell is going on?" Sam said as he got into the car, "No, I'm sure we can keep them out for about a week tops, but let's try to get this done before they try to handle their 'asbestos' and 'gas leak'," Dean answered, closing his car door. "Well we can't go to the motel, you pointed them to the only one in town," Sam said, making a gesture with his head in my direction. "Well she can just stay in the car, right Chris?" Dean said, turning his head towards the back to look at me. I motioned towards my books, "I will not be bored out of my mind in the back of the car, as long as you let me have bathroom breaks I think I'll be fine," I informed. Dean smiled at me and looked at Sam smugly. Sam rolled his eyes, "Just start driving,".

We ended up sitting at a diner that had free wifi for a bit before Sam found what he and Dean were looking for, which turned out to be a cleaning lady's address. So I was sitting in the back of the car, while Sam and Dean dressed up in tuxes to go interview the woman. I stayed in the car and read a book I'd swiped from Uncle Bobby's house. It was a book about witches and Latin spells. It had a very colorful cover, that neither Sam or Dean had read, so they hadn't asked me about it. I still wasn't sure what to do or say about the water thing... Sam and Dean talked with the cleaning lady for a good ten or so minutes before Sam and Dean came back into the car, Dean had some pictures in his hand. "I say we give that place a real once over," Dean was saying as he got in the car. "Yeah, but are we just gonna leave her in the car?" Sam questioned. Dean looked a little annoyed, "Yeah Sam, she is, unless you have a better idea," Dean snipped at him. Sam looked like he wanted to say something, but he just sighed. "We'll head back to the house tonight and see what's going on," Dean decided, pulling out of the woman's driveway.
