We both quickly straightened ourselves up and chuckled nervously, feeling embarrassed that someone saw what we were doing. The girl switched her gaze over to Naail and her expression turned bright. I knew what she wanted, but I wouldn't let her get him that easily. I wrapped my arms around Naail's shoulder and gave her a smile, hoping that would get her mad a bit. She did some sort of angry sound but quickly cleared her throat and acted like nothing happened. She walked over to Naail. "Oh my gosh! Naail how are you!!" She quickly pulled him for a hug and Naail slowly let go of my grip on his shoulder to hug him back. I felt sad and scared. I didn't want her to take him that easily, but maybe she just wanted to greet him. I didn't want to expect the worse just because I saw it in a dream, I mean, we didn't even have a dance so that gave me a bit of hope that all things will be well. She pulled away and took his hands, her expression never changing. I looked at her for a moment. Her smile was wide and her teeth gleamed once the light hit it. Her face was so soft and beautiful. I looked down and frowned. I knew I could never win. She looked way to beautiful, something like of a model. Maybe she was what Naail wanted. While they talked, I tapped Naail on the shoulder, which caught his attention. He turned and had a confused expression. "What's up?" He asked. I smiled nervously and responded, "Hey..I, just going to hang out with Eliza and Tanyon if that's ok, that way you guys can catch up." He smiled and nodded. "Sure." I chuckled and went away, my smile quickly turning into a frown.

It took a while for me to find the couple, but I happened to find them sitting in a table, laughing and smiling. I felt happy for them, when I thought about it, I was technically the one that made them a couple. I walked over to the table and sat down next to Eliza. "Hey guys.." I said, as I was sitting down. Eliza looked over at me and frowned which Tanyon also did as well. I looked at both of their reactions with a confused reaction. "Is it that obvious?" Eliza nodded. "Yeah, but I mean I've known you for a long time so that's normal, but Tanyon-" She turned to face him. "-how do you know?" He shrugged. "I don't know, I'm just good at reading people's expressions and identifying what they're hiding." Eliza seemed to remember something and sighed, smiling and staring at Tanyon. ("you can't hide anything from me" yeah thanks Nimrah for making him have such trait *clap* *clap*). I just looked down at the table and frowned. Eliza put a hand on her shoulder and wore a sad expression, I knew she felt such pity for me. "What happened Nimrah?" She said with a sad, and heavy tone. I sighed. "Well..she showed up." Eliza needed to take a second to understand who I was talking about, but eventually found out and frowned. "Well..maybe they won't do it. Maybe they were just friends and they wanted to catch up." I gasped which took the couples attention. "That's what you also said to me in my dream!" I exclaimed and a new horror crawled up to me. "No..no! I won't let this become a reality!" I pushed myself out of the seat and quickly ran away. "Nimrah wait!" Eliza called after me as I ran. I didn't care what would happen, I just didn't want my nightmare to become a reality. I didn't have a sense of where I was going but I ended up at a bar. (Btw you're 21 so this is totally legal don't worry I should've actually mentioned this in the beginning. Oh well-) I entered the bar and sat down, frowning. I heard a hand hit the table and I looked up. I found a guy with a mysterious smile and a beard. I read the tag on his shirt and mentally calmed down when I found out that he was just an bartender. He didn't look look old, but the way he looked made me a bit cautious. "Want a drink lassy?" He said with a hint of an Irish accent. I cleared my throat and answered with a shaky voice. "N-no." He looked suprised and chuckled a bit. "Las you look like you've been through something hard, I've got a drink in mind for that." He started to look at the bottles behind him and I quickly spoke. "I said no sir." He ignored me and I groaned softly. A few minutes later, he placed a drink in front of me and I looked at it with a confused expression. He smiled. "It's just a cocktail las. A Manhattan one to be precise." I looked up at him with confusion. "Why a Manhattan cocktail? What does that have to do with tough times?" He shook his head and chuckled. "Manhattan cocktails look pretty dark as you can see, which kinda resembles sad, but of course, sadness is different to other people." He was cleaning a cup as he spoke. "Just by seeing how you entered the bar and how you looked in general, you only had one viewpoint of sadness and that's that drink." He put the glass down. "Plus Manhattan may be a city where dreams come true but there's always some heavy and tough dilemma, that's the sad part of Manhattan." I took the Manhattan drink and took a sip. It definitely tasted good so I gulped it down in one shot. The man smiled. "And don't worry the drink is on me." I smiled and I said something that I would soon regret. "Hey..um can I have another drink? I doesn't matter what I just need another one." He frowned a bit and chuckled nervously. "Uh..are you sure?" I nodded. "Yes..i just need a break." He sighed and made another drink. I was on a spree. I kept asking for more and more drinks and I started feel dizzy and started forgetting things. I was happy. I needed this break. If I couldn't have the man I love because of that horrible woman, I could just escape reality.
