Ophelia's phone buzzed in her pocket and she slid it out, looking around to make sure the teacher wasn't looking.

I think we need to talk

I tried earlier but you shut me down, She typed back quickly.

Well I'm ready now. Talk at lunch?

Lunch

What could Olivia have to talk to her about that made her seem so uncomfortable?

"Are we paying attention, Ms. Bailey?" Mr. Brown asked.

"Yes, Sir," she said, hastily pulling herself out of her thoughts. He hmphed suspiciously but continued.

In Olivia's class, she was slumped in her seat, stressed as hell. She had just gotten Ophelia back. She had fucked up, almost lost her, fucked up again, and thought Ophelia was gone forever. She couldn't let her ex-boyfriend of all people steal Ophelia away.

But what if she really way bisexual? It's not like that would be a bad thing, she had no problem with it because she knew it didn't affect how much Ophelia loved her but it made her nervous that Ryan knew it before she had.

The bell rang for lunch and she lurched out of her seat, anxious to talk things out and make sure everything was okay.  They met in the middle of the hall, hands joined together near their shoulders.

"I saw a text from Ryan that said you were bisexual yesterday and that he liked you and I got super nervous and insecure because he's been nothing but good to you when I've bullied you and I thought maybe when you wanted to talk today you were going to leave me for him and I'm really confused and don't know what's happening and I'm sorry I snooped through your phone," Olivia blurted almost immediately.

Ophelia smiled and tightened her grip on her hands.  "I'm not breaking up with you but I did want to tell you I think I could be bisexual. I had this dream that Ryan kissed me and it freaked me out and I thought maybe I meant I liked him but I honestly think we're just really good friends and I don't want to confuse that for anything else. We both agreed to stay friends because I don't want to lose him as one and I don't want to lose you as my girlfriend."

"Really?" Olivia asked hopefully.

"Of course. We didn't go through all of that just to throw this away. I love you. Fuck everybody else."

Olivia laughed and wiped tears away from her eyes. "I feel so stupid," she said.

"Hey, no, it's totally okay," Ophelia assured her.

"Olivia, hey," Ryan said behind Ophelia.

"Hey, I'm sorry I went off on you. It's fine now," Olivia told him.

"Okay, good. I really didn't want you being upset with me."

"Oh, hey, I have this for you," Ophelia said, pulling a folded slip of paper from her back pocket and handed it to Olivia.

"What is this?"

"Something I wrote for you yesterday after you left. You can read it now or later, it doesn't matter."

Olivia unfolded the page and sat at a nearby table.

*"She smells like lemongrass and sleep.

She tastes like apple juice and peach.

You would find her in a Polaroid and she means everything to me.
