as the next day came by, it was his last day. taehyung decided to make sure he made the most of it by doing everything he wanted with her, if possible.

he brought her favourite sundress for her to have a little dress-up party. he watched how she did her makeup as he braided her long brown hair.

he even brought his polaroid camera so they could take pictures together, but this time, he made sure he used up all his films.

his heart ached even more as time passed. she was happy, her smile was bright and he could never get tired seeing her beautiful smile.

without the both noticing, the sky had already turned dark. taehyung watched the sunset and how the moon rose up to the now dark painted sky.

he climbed into the bed with her, cuddling next to her as he held her body close to him. he felt the tears behind his eyes threatening to fall, but he did his best to hold it back.

"i love you." taehyung said which caught the latter off guard. she was a little startled by the sudden confession, but nonetheless, her hands stroked his soft locks and replied back with a soft smile on her face.

"i love you more." with that, tears started falling down his cheeks. he couldn't help it, his heart ached so much thinking about leaving her alone like this in this world.

the two laid there next to each other, none of them spoke a word but enjoyed their company as time slowly ticked away.

"by the way." she started. he only hummed in response with his eyes shut. "dr. lee said i have a donor to have a heart transplant." she said softly. his heart ached hearing the words rolled out of her mouth.

"yeah, i've heard." his tone was low, but audible to the latter who had a big smile on her face.

she leaned in closer to his body. "i can't wait to spend the rest of my days with you." she said as she snuggled up on his chest.
