Carter's POV

I have to pick y/n up in an hour for our date and tbh I can't wait to see her sexy ass again. I don't know what came over me today, but either way I'm glad I did what I did. And y/n wasn't complaining either ;). I hope she doesn't think that was it. And if she does, she has another thing coming.
Hayes' POV

Something keeps making me think that Y/n is avoiding me. I don't know why, but ever since she saw me and my cousin Gabby walk in class together she hasn't looked me in the eye. Girls. I shake my head as I get out of bed and head downstairs to get some water. As I'm heading down I see that Y/n's door is open so I decide to peep in. I look and see that she's all dressed up in a sexy little black sweater looking cocktail dress and black flats.(Outfit in the beginning pic) I have no idea where she's going ,but I'm gonna find out. "Where are you going?!" I ask. "Well if you must know I'm going on a date!" She says with a hint of attitude. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOURE GOING ON A DATE?! IS THIS A JOKE?!" I yell. "I'm not laughing am I?" She says and rolls her eyes. "How could you go on a date y/n? After all of what we did and said?!" I say, openly hurt. I loved Y/n with all my heart and the fact that she could say this to me so easily broke my heart. "Can you please leave I have to finish getting ready." She says without looking back at me. At this point I'm pissed. I turn around d and walk out, slamming the door behind me.
Y/n POV

It took everything in you to say that to Hayes. The truth was that you loved him and you couldn't let him go,but you know how being hurt feels,and you don't need that in your life right now. You push those feelings to the side and finish getting ready.
