The noise was hurting my ears. Fire cracking, trees falling , yelling. I knew they were going to catch me, but I had a chance to run. The wind was blowing against my face as I breathed in the scent of burned wood and moist air. I stopped to catch my breath ad turned to look if their there. They weren't. I was relieved and looked up. Their were so many shiny dots across the...sky. Focus Lucille. You need to get out of here. My legs knew what it was doing. I was running again, but much faster. The cold air and ember woods were choking me, but I got past it. I ran until I crashed into something, hard. It's rough hands grabbed me to steady me. I looked up to see who it was, but it was too dark to tell. All that I hear was a deep, male voice,
"Caught you."
And saw the smirk that made me shiver, through the moonlight.
